About the Author

Dalziel Laing is the pseudonym or pen name of Dianne Dalziel and Wendy Laing, the co-authors of this exciting and intriguing novel. Wendy Laing: A writer, part-time housewife with a Teaching Diploma and a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Majors in Professional Writing (creative writing, editing and publishing) and Communications (mass media and gender imaging) with electives in Literary Studies and Sociology. A "Jill-of-all-Trades" Teacher, curriculum consultant, travel consultant, International Airline employee in passenger and cargo areas at Melbourne International Airport and city offices, and a Professional Dog Trainer! I've had articles published in 'The Sunbury Times' and 'The Anthony Warlow international Newsletter'. Wendy's nearly halfway through a Master of Arts at University, doing a project/thesis called: "Severance Packages A Crime/Paranormal Novel and Exegesis focussing on the Electronic and Digital publication of Creative Writing" in between writing more books. Member of the FAW (Fellowship of Australian Writers) Member of the VWC (Victorian Writers Centre) Lifetime Alumni Member of Victoria University Member of EPIC and EPRO Member of The Australian Bush Poets Association Inc. Dianne Dalziel: Dianne Dalziel had a background in both the advertising and print industry. After completing a Bachelor of Arts, with majors in Professional Writing and Communications, she went on to complete an Honours thesis which focused on the symbiotic relationship between the literary magazine and electronic publishing. She then turned her hand to writing. "Mirror, Mirror" was her first book, co-authored with university friend Wendy Laing. She was a Lifetime Alumni Member of Victoria University. Dianne lived north of Sunbury in an idyllic country setting on her property at Macedon with her son Andrew, and a menagerie of cats, a dog, chooks, kangaroos, and her beloved horses. Sadly she died suddenly and unexpectedly on this property in April 2003, and did not see this book published.

    I'm an Australian writer, part-time housewife with a Teaching Diploma, a Bachelor of Arts Degree (majors Professional Writing, Communications) and a Master Of Arts (project/thesis) titled: 'Severance Packages: A crime / paranormal novel and Exegesis focussing on the Electronic and Digital publication of Creative Writing'.

    I'm a 'Jill of all trades' and have been a teacher, curriculum consultant, a travel consultant/manager, ground staff at Melbourne International airport for Flying Tiger airline, and Cathay Pacific Airways (airport & city ticket office), and a hobby was a professional dog trainer. Upon retirement from Cathay, I went back to University obtaining my under-grad BA and post grad Masters degrees. I have recently revived my piano skills and have composed two pieces, utilizing my writing skills with Lyrics.

    I write in multi genres, with books children's books, poetry books, murder mysteries & murder/paranormal series published.

    I'm recently widowed and live with my four-pawed family, Vicky, a loveable Greyhound and in a retirement estate in Victoria, Australia.
