Alice and the Mad Hatter are still together, and she's still trying to get away. She's going to do whatever it takes, no matter what. It doesn't matter if she's becoming addicted to what he's doing to her, and she likes it. She keeps telling herself that she doesn't and that she needs to get away.

I like Alice, and I think that her stubborn streak is going to help her out, at least sometimes. I also think she is a little blind at times. There are things that I think that she misses, or that maybe she's picking up on them but not realizing them.

Oscar is interesting. I think that he is definitely oblivious about certain things. It's going to be interesting to watch what happens.

I often feel like I’m repeating myself when I review Felicity Brandon’s books. I mean, how many times, in how many different ways, can you heartily recommend interesting and well written stories, filled with fascinating characters and great plots? Well, maybe I just did…

Doctored is the story of Oscar and Alice. Oscar is the resident doctor of the Men of Honour, a criminal enterprise, and Alice is an MI5 agent, working undercover to bring down the organization. Alice is certainly no doormat and Oscar is by no means a beta male. Their physical and emotional chemistry are very strong and it’s this attraction that is a major problem for both of them. And from the way the book ended, this issue has not really been resolved. It left me wondering what was going to come next.

The book is a fun read. I enjoyed every page. But this is the usual with this author. She always delivers an entertaining read. If you like dark romance, Felicity Brandon should be on your list of authors to read. Highly recommended.

I didn't really care for this story. I almost considered stopping around the 1/4th mark but forced myself to continue. This does end in a cliffhanger and I wouldn't have wasted my time reading it had I'd known.
Starts off with the h already being in captivity. The H is part of a group that deals in human trafficking. She's in the secret service and is supposed to infiltrate that group but her cover was blown before that could happen. She eventually escapes. I won't say anymore about the story because I don't want there to be spoilers but reading all the Mr. Hatton, Sir's did get a little annoying.

Oscar and Alice are my favorite characters of of this series. I cannot get enough of them. I love finding all the Alice in Wonderland references especially a certain one revealed in this book. I hope they are featured in more books to come. I highly recommend this series.

This defines how strong the Stockholm syndrome affects a person. Very different take on mafia life style. Keeps your interest.

We get the final story for the doctor and the agent from the prequel. I was so happy to get their final story and that they found a way to make it all work... for real. It took her getting the upper hand on him and escaping for her to realize what she really felt for him. This was probably my favorite so far in the series.

Doctored is Oscar "The Mad Hatter" and Alice's story. This book is every bit as good as the ones before it. I really liked Alice's character, she's no slouch and can easily look after herself. Hopefully we get to find out in the future whether Alice does bring down The Men of Honour.
