- Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2014A fun, yet very practical book on saving money and cutting waste. I already know most of the stuff presented in the book, but must admit it was a nice reminder and motivation to start working on them more frequently. I consider myself saving-minded and did many things for myself the author suggested. Therefore, I know it is very doable and the suggestions are very achievable in daily life. A great handbook on saving money.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2015As a stay-at-home mom, I’m always looking for new ways to help our family save money. After searching Amazon for books with tips and suggestions, I found this one. Not only are there great tips included, but the book is written in an easy to read style that I found quite entertaining.
My favorite part of this book was that all the recommended tips are realistic and reasonable. The author doesn’t recommend becoming an extreme couponer or sealing off rooms in your home to save on utilities, but instead suggests small changes to cut back on groceries, clothing expenses, and household/car maintenance. There are some good points made on considering what bills are necessities and what bills are for entertainment only (like cable).
I learned a lot from this book. I found that I had already implemented some of the suggestions, and I’m currently working on implementing a few more. I look forward to seeing some good results!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2014You'd be surprised how what is ending up costing you the most money. This book provides insight into what may be costing you and what you can do to save less. There are plenty of unique tips that left me wondering how I didn't think of it. In all this book is worth the price when it helps in guiding me to saving hundreds of dollars in my life.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2015I consider myself an experienced money saver. I saw this catchy title and the good reviews and decided to buy. I was disappointed to find no new ideas in here. I've already implemented most of these ideas, or tried them at some point. I still give it three stars because for people who don't normally think about money saving, they would no doubt get some good ideas here. Also, the price was low and the information succinct, so that helps too.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 27, 2014Money Hacks was a quick and easy read and provided me with lots of ideas on ways that I could save money in my every day life. Who doesn't want to save money? It was well worth the 3 bucks for sure and I hope to read more from author Ahmed Dawn!

- Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2015Good pointers on how to save in everyday expensese
- Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2017This book i feel are for the people who are making a "good" salary, have a home, kids, etc and need some direction because they buy starbucks everyday and watch tv Etc.. all the small costs that add up that really damper your cookiejar.
But for someone who has a VERY limited income(currently, but not forever) as a freelance photographer and working fulltime on investing in myself, this book didnt do anything for me. I consider myself extremely dollar wise with my money. Was looking for a bit more than the typical advice... i suppose this book is directed at the "majority" of people.

A few maybe useful points but mostly just common sense.

4.0 out of 5 stars Small commitment of money and time, huge return.
Great tips for saving money in almost every expense category. The book itself is cheap, and a very quick read. I've come across some of these tips before, but after reading this I realized what a difference it can make if you consistently apply some of these principles.
