I wasted eight years of my life on a marriage that was doomed from the start. My ex-husband only married me for my family name and money. Now that the divorce is final, I'm ready to move on focusing on providing a happy life for our son. When my friends insisted they take me out to celebrate my new found freedom, I reluctantly agreed.

I should have asked where we were going. I never imagined we'd end up in a male strip club. I was ready to leave before we walked through the doors. That is until I locked eyes with a masked dancer. His green eyes bored into me, owning me with just one look. Then when our hands touched, he made me feel things I'd never felt, and want things I'd never dared to dream.

Just when my dream seemed like it was coming true, my worst nightmare became my reality. My divorce was just a useless piece of paper, and I’m afraid that not even love will be able to save me.

I can't believe I'm doing this. Never did I ever think that this would be me. I'm an elementary school assistant principal, not a male dancer. I have to keep reminding myself that I'm doing this for my brother. I'm helping him keep his job.

    This was a first time read by this author and it definitely won’t be the last.
    This was not only an Insta Love story but also a story of betrayal and emotional heartbreak.
    Melanie’s married to a cheating husband who cares nothing for her or their son, he is selfish and totally absorbed in himself, his life of petty crime, drugs and women on the side. He is married for purely monetary reasons.
    Melanie is thrown into a world of blackmail by her husband when she kicks him out for his cheating when she finally decides enough is enough.
    On a night out with her girlfriends she sees a male stripper that catches her eye but thinks nothing more of the night.
    Nash, a school teacher who gets a promotion of assistant principal helps his brother out with one night of male stripteasing only to see Melanie and from that night he can’t get her out of his head.
    When he chances to see her days later at his school with her son that is all the excuse he needs to get to know her better.
    I loved this book and it kept me wanting more.

    I enjoyed the book for the most part. Gage was the star of the story for me. Gage was a well behaved young man who had witnessed more than he should have at his age. Nash was a complete gentleman. Meredith was a strong heroine who had a great group of support in her life. Nash & Meredith had a instant connection. I found it to be a decent read. I Will be in the look out for more by this author.

    This is a lovely little romance with some scary secondary challenges that give the heroine and her hero depth and some realism. Every time the Big Bad showed his total disregard for his own son's safety caused this reader to want pull that jerk from the pages and give him a come to Jesus talk he'd never forget. When a character affects me that much, I know the talent of the writer is outstanding!
