    An unhappily married woman with sexually submissive desires struggles with commitment to her callous husband, and her passion and need for Sebastian, an attractive, attentive, dominant man. Her husband is uncaring and selfish. She feels “invisible” and undesired, until she meets a Sebastian, man who understands her dark passions. Their attraction is forbidden, erotic, and filled with suspense.
    The story is written in alternating 1st person point-of-view with deep perceptive honesty. I couldn’t put it down. I look forward to the continuing journey of these characters in the next book. This new author is on my favorites list!

    Let me start by saying the writing in this is incredible. Rachel is a master of her craft. She has a way of turning words that resonate with the reader. I found myself relating to Izzy, despite a healthy marriage, because it wasn't just about a woman's unhappiness but a longing. And I think a lot of women are afraid to accept their sexual desires for "more" because of society's way of portraying women with healthy sexual appetites.

    That being said, I hated Isabel. Gods almighty was she spineless! She's supposed to be this women who is "tired of seeking her own pleasure" but she hadn't even masturbated until Seb commands her to do it. When I picture someone who needs to have a submissive side in bed, who craves it like Izzy does, she is in control of everything else in her life. But Izzy isn't. She is submissive in all things she does. Whether you like to admit it or not she's submissive with Phil because she lies there and lets him have his way with her. She backs down at any sign of a fight and she flip flops more than a fish who has just been thrown on deck. I wanted to scream at her more than once to have a backbone because for a 32 year old she acted like a child more often than not.

    Seb is also a true alpha male but I couldn't connect with him. De Lune hints at there being something dark and broken inside of him but you don't see it or get an explanation of what it is, or what the cause is. A few times we got a page and a half of Seb's point of view which included these hints but I think this book would have benefitted a lot more from having his perspective every other chapter. The story would've felt more coherent too. Isabel was wishy-washy enough that having a male alpha who mirrored this was frustrating as a reader. I finished he story with more questions than answers, and a serious doubt if I wanted to continue Spineless Sally, I mean Isabel's story.

    Rachel De Lune is a master of her craft, and I can't wait to see where book two of The Evermore Series takes us. More is a story about being awoken sexually and personally. Isabel who is very unhappy in her marriage, just wants more. Her husband long ago abandoned her needs, her feelings, and it shows in this story. She suspects that her husband is cheating as well.

    She meets Sebastian York, a man who is easy on the eyes, and dominant to the core. This man can take her where she has dreamed of going in her submissive journey. However, she needs to find the strength to get out of her bad marriage and I felt like it took her a very long time to try to get a back bone and do so. She is dependent on that marriage and without it, she is very much alone. I felt like she didn't realize whether in her marriage or not, she was alone.

    Izzy is just a lost soul in need of some guidance and in need of an outlet. I feel like if she had that, she could have been stronger than she was. This book will bring you on her journey of finding herself and trying to decide what her future is and how it is going to play out. We are left with a cliffhanger and it is well worth picking up the second installment.

    Okay so I’m known for not reading a books synopsis or reviews as I prefer to go in blind and that’s totally the case with this, however I was totally not expecting that much panty wetting hotness from this book... no word of a lie that has just totally blown my mind! Seb and Izzy are... well wow! I can usually string together a sentence or two about the characters in a book but honestly I am speechless right now.

    As soon as I started reading this book, I couldn't put it down. It draws the reader in right from the start. Izzy is in a loveless marriage and craves to be desired by a man who knows how to please his woman. She meets Seb by accident and it isn't long before he begins to unlock all her passion. She is riddled with guilt regarding her husband, even though their love has dies and she's certain he's having an affair.
    Without spoiling the read for anyone, it does leave the story on a bit of a cliffhanger. I have now downloaded books 2 and 3 in the series and cannot wait to read them!
