A dusty highway stretches. A big rig idles. A passenger's door opens.

The trucker's weathered eyes sparkle. His cigarette bobs as he grins.

Tell you what, kid, I can take you as far as Crownville, West Virginia. After that, you're on your own. What's in Crownville, you ask?

He gazes down the highway. His exhaled smoke swirls in the waiting space.

Well, no more'n a grease smudge on the map, I'll tell you that. Life is slow and dirty there. In every way you can imagine. The men are hard and the women strong. Because they have to be. Because it's all they know.

He smiles as if remembering.

But it ain't all bad. Sometimes, when the wind blows right, two heartless souls collide.

    What happens when they run into each other? Of course he's a true woman hater, albiet with good reason, who thinks she is just another "woman". Boy is he wrong! Does he find out the hard way.
    Mae, her life since her mom passed has changed. She needs to leave her home town for something different.
    Things get exciting Clyde and Mae hit the road in a cloud of dust and blue lights. No looking back, or is there? What skeletons do they both have in their closets???
    Hey this book is a great read! I was swept up and when i finished it I was left wanting more. Just like anytime i read one of Moxie Darlings books.

    Good book, worth the time and money to read it. Characters are all low-lives, not one sophisticated or rich or cosmopolitan person among them, but you like them anyway.

    The sex scenes are great, raw, hungry, demanding.

    I have been anxiously awaiting the release of Mother Trucker and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint!
    Clyde and Mae are both bad ass, but big hearted characters whose lives intertwine at the perfect moment! Their story is one of true love but it took a lot of unexpected twists and turns to get there along with some heartbreak. But don’t worry, with that heartbreak comes some hott sexy time!
    I laughed with them, cried with them and loved with them through their whole story and I miss them already!
