This was great! The characters were fun, even silly at times. Vivian and Jett are perfect verbal sparring partners. Heck they can't look at each other without sparks flying. Throw in some friends who all seem to have similar problems being hung up on men they can't have or haven't figured out how to interact with. Two meddling mother's. Throw in a box of toys that aren't for a cute puppy and a challenge for each friend to use their box in the two weeks following it's arrival. What you have is a perfect short but complete, easy to read, fun, steamy, story with a happily ever after! I have voluntarily left this review!

    Vivian has a new neighbor but it is her ex best friend, they were close and now they are anything but close. Jett has women coming and going out of his apartment at all hours. She admits he looks good. Then there is a mix up on a package and it gets delivered to Jett and it is not the kind of thing you want your neighbors to see. It takes off from there. The characters were good and I could empathize with Vivian. The story was short but enjoyable and the story flowed. Great book cannot wait for the others in the series.

Getting back together involves some very steamy role-playing. There is a flip book written from Jett's POV---I'm not a fan of requiring readers to purchase a second book and don't think it's needed before reading next story..

    Omg this was so deliciously good. You really felt for Vivian after all she has been through and still in love with her former best friend. She hasn’t been the same since she lost her best friend and other half. You could feel the tension and chemistry. Their banter and angst fueling them like gasoline. Loved their steam. So hot together. Then you got the other side and knew that he never wanted to be away from her either. Loved the story can’t wait for his side.

    Short story wise, this one was cute, although I wasn’t really expecting a short story. To be honest most of my grips about this book are mostly because of the length.
    Vivian and Jett don’t have a good relationship when the book starts, she holds a grudge against her ex best friend and he is now all of a sudden her neighbor. She is also very clearly still in her feelings when it comes to him.
    First off, my biggest issue was I didn’t really buy into their first romantic interaction together. For someone who has such strong emotional hangups about Jett, she had no issue just throwing it all out the window. And then once everything started up these two were hot and heavy and all hearts and flowers. I just didn’t really buy into it. I need more conflict/development.
    But again, short stories don’t really allow for these kinds of things. So if you are looking for a hot short story about two people who have a history of love and hate, this might be a good book for you.

    I loved Vivian and Jett as a couple, they’re perfect for each other and I like how the story starts kind of like an enemies to lovers, although only Vivian considers him as an enemie. You’re definitely going to love it. I’ve read all of Alexia’s short stories and this one is definitely on my top 5.
    You also get to know Vivian friends who are going to be the main characters on the next books in the series and I can’t wait to read them all.
    I love short stories and I love Alexia Chase, so, her short stories are one of my favorite combinations. I’m so happy she decided to write more.
    I can’t wait to read it again but in Jett’s POV.

    It’s a sin how seriously hot this book is. This book is short but packs a load of heat. I am a huge fan of alexia’s books and this one has Jett who so far is my new favourite book boyfriend. Best friends since childhood and because of a misunderstanding they drifted apart but their reunion is one that everyone needs to read.

    Both books are hot and addictive reads that leave you wishing they were longer. I love how the author have given readers the choice of reading one or both POVs. These books may be quick reads, but there's enough in each for you to get to know the characters and enjoy seeing them on their journey together. I've already downloaded books 3 and 4 because I'm hooked to this series and need to know what happens to the other girls and the guys lucky enough to own their hearts
