My Lonely Billionaire (The Billionaire Kings Book 4) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 1,502 ratings

Never fall in love with your knight in shining armor…

Even though he can’t step foot out of his house, Noah King’s sole purpose in life is to help people.
He created the Ark as a sanctuary for animals and people alike, and it’s not surprising that when I’m at my lowest ebb, he’s the one who rides in on his white horse and rescues me.
But now I’m in a terrible dilemma.
Since his wife died giving birth to their baby – who also died – Noah’s been a recluse.
The last thing he needs in his life is a woman who’s eight months pregnant, alone, and homeless.
Of course he’s going to want to help me.
I know I mustn’t mistake kindness and friendship for real love.
And I really don’t want to be one of life’s victims.
I want to get myself back on my feet and create a good life for the baby.
I don’t want to cause Noah pain by stirring up old memories. And I don’t want him to feel pity for me.
I know I should walk away.
But it’s strange how it’s only when someone shows you kindness that you realize how empty your life has been.
Oh God. I’m desperately in love with him.
And now the baby is days away from coming, and I’ve literally nowhere to go.
What am I going to do?

MY LONELY BILLIONAIRE is a standalone read with a HEA. AHHH, Noah. Finally his story. Noah is the oldest of the King offspring and he set up the ARK. A sanctuary for animals. They train, heal, and love all kinds of animals. Finding them forever homes or just healing them. It is a great place to work and be a part of. All the King kids play a part in the running of this establishment.

Noah was married and his wife was pregnant. Right at the end things went horribly wrong and the baby was stillborn and his wife died shortly after. He lost everything. His grief was so profound that he built himself a beautiful home, moved in and rarely left it. The longer he stayed inside, the harder it became to face the outside world. All his family and friends grieved with him. They also lost Noah. He stays in his home but he runs the ARK. His housekeeper has got to leave town because of her ailing mother but she asks Noah to please hire a young woman that is desperate for work. There is a small catch. She is 8 months pregnant. Most wouldn't be bothered but not Noah, he insist that she come to work for him and he will help her.

There is only one Noah. This guy has the kindest heart. He is giving and caring. The path to happiness for Noah is in a word, Abby. This is a sweet romance. The falling in love for a man that has such tragedy in his life. He deserves the sweet and beautiful Abby. I loved this story. Abby's story is not a sweet one. She has had her share of pain and heartache. She doesn't think she deserves someone like Noah. She is in a hard position. Being 8 months pregnant, basically penniless she doesn't know where to turn. She is new in town and doesn't have any family or friends. I can only imagine how she felt being in that position. This story touches on a few medical issues which we all should know about just to make us have a better understanding of what the suffers are going through. I really enjoyed Noah's story. Great ending. I definitely recommend it.

I was not paid for this review. I am not a writer nor do I know one. I am not kin to this author. I am a reader and this is my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. 8/25/2019

Another terrific story in a fabulous series! I've been anxiously waiting for Noah's story since the first book. He is such a strong, compassionate, damaged man who deserves an HEA. Abby has tried her best to make a relationship work but she is finally pushed beyond her breaking point and admits the relationship has actually been over for a long time. Noah and Abby dance around each other for months as their friendship grows, as do their feelings for each other. It was a slow burn romance. I love the way everybody at the Ark takes care of Abby when she needs a helping hand. No surprise since everyone working there is a compassionate person.

I enjoyed catching up with everybody at the Ark. While the book is a standalone, the same core characters show up in all the books.

If you enjoy stories that are well-written with likable, believable characters and plenty of heart, then I urge you to read My Lonely Billionaire. In fact, I urge you to read every book written by the talented Serenity Woods.

Loved it but found another unrealistic scenario. I applaud Serenity Woods for promoting safe sex but realistically speaking why would a man, who hasn't had sex for 10 years have condoms in his bedside table all of a sudden?
She's the writer I'm sure if Abby and Noah had unprotected sex everything would be fine.
It breaks the flow of reading for me.

Besides all that I really enjoyed their story! Was beautiful how they were able to heal together.

What a wonderful heartwarming tale of neglect, petrifying loss, need, insecurity, friendship, family and love. Noah and Abby’s story, as they navigate the possibility of a different life than the present one, is quite the journey. Eventually they open themselves up to friendship and a true partnership full of love, humor and belief in each other. But then, this is Serenity Woods doing the writing … I expect her books to deliver this type of tale. Can’t wait to get ahold of another one soon.

A pregnant woman and an agoraphobic billionaire is a match made in heaven! Although this sounds like an odd couple, every contemporary romance fan should give it a try as long as you are in the mood for lots of bumps in the road to a happy ending. This romance is so beautiful and a tear-jerker, and I loved every minute of it. It will melt your heart. The series can be read out of order, but the experience will be richer if you already know the supporting characters from previous books. BTW, it is told in alternating first person perspective, but neither character sounds egotistical at all.

I usually avoid romances featuring a pregnant woman, but I couldn’t say no to the lonely billionaire Noah who had briefly appeared in previous books of this wonderful “Billionaire Kings” series. Noah had been struggling with agoraphobia in the ten years since his wife and unborn child had died of complications during pregnancy. He only ever left his mansion each to walk his dogs along his private beach, but he kept himself busy running his charitable organization, the Noah’s Ark animal rescue and veterinary service. Noah is such a good guy and a sweetheart, and he really respects women.

When Abbie meets Noah as his part-time temporary housekeeper, she has a terrible set of personal problems. Among other things, she is 8 months pregnant but has a hellish long-term boyfriend and no money. She and Noah strike up a friendship, and she encourages Noah to do little things to try to get his agoraphobia under control. I won’t say too much, but Abbie and Noah are later able to start a relationship. They are so sweet together, and both of them feel very real to me.

Typically lovely Woods romance. All the elements for an Ark romance. I love how they all have each other’s backs, whether it’s the women taking care of Abby or the guys watching out for Noah. All of Serenity Wood’s books feature such lovely men, sexy, caring, romantic. I don’t always like pregnancy storylines, but this one worked very well, perhaps because he was older. Or because she was already pregnant. This book made me happy to read.

Serena Woods delivers a wonderful story full of normal human frailties and characters with less than perfect lives. Loving friendships helping others altruistically and the warmth of friends and families. I loved this story from start to finish. Believable love story set in the beautiful north of New Zealand.

Noah builds a business so he's whole family can work. His wife dies in child birth, so he is single for ten years. He falls in love with his housekeeper. That's all I am going to say.

Wow finally Noah’s story! This was such a good read. I have read all of this series and I have waited patiently to read just who would capture the reclusive Noah. Abby’s story was just as tragic. Two people wounded by their past coming together and I loved every minute of it. I read the book in one sitting as I couldn’t put it down. Highly recommended reading.

Noah has been alone since his wife died in childbirth and his daughter dies with her. He leads a lonely life for ten years building up his animal sanctuary having a hard time leaving his home. He is asked by his housekeeper if another lady can do her work whilst she goes to look after her mother and Noah agrees. Its a lovely story about two people who need each other and how Noah starts to see that he can live again
