4.5 stars My Saving Grace by Melanie Moreland was such an amazing read... why.... so many reasons....the connection between Jaxson Richard and Gracie Van Ryan burns up the pages as this taboo office romance will set your kindle afire! I adored how it was so very clear to the reader that Gracie was different for Richard, you really feel that this experience and successful lawyer felt an attraction to Gracie like nothing he had ever experience before... Gracie and Jaxson's office presence together and their out-of-office presence together have the reader understanding these two truly fit together .... The banter between Jaxson and Gracie's Dad Richard was beyond EPIC! So many great conversations in this book allow the reader to feel apart of this world! Oh and Jaxson's admin is amazing, he adds to the story and well so much to love in this book! Jaxson's charisma shines through as he charms Gracie's family .. her large family created by her parents inner circle...oh and yes he charms the reader as well. Do me a favor... when you get to the part where you might want to strangle Jaxson.. wait... because WOW... the way this lawyer puts the pieces together will impress as he makes it very clear Gracie comes first! I am so excited for Finding Roman's Heart next! This book is easily read standalone! But if you want to start with the first book about this next generation make sure to read A Merry Vested Wedding!     This is my fourth read by Miss Melanie (stop glaring at me, Karen) and I want to read so many more! I just love all her words I’ve read so far. It amazes me at how easily I’m pulled into her stories and lose track of time and reality.

    Once I started My Saving Grace, I didn’t want to put it down. I was lost in the world of Grouchy McGroucherson, Jaxson Richards, and the sassy Grace Van Ryan who could put him in his place. I loved both of them. He is a powerful man who’s always all sexy & scowly. She is vulnerable, yet so very strong and smart and confident - a perfect heroine for him.

    Jaxson is her boss. Off limits. He’s older than her. He’s grumpy to her sunshine. On paper, they just don’t/can’t work. But their attraction is undeniable. The chemistry white hot. Her sassiness sparked something in him. So he went after what he wanted. And she couldn’t resist him.

    Their relationship grew from articling student (intern) and boss, to secret lovers, to two people who wanted and needed different things.

    Jaxson has his reasons for thinking love isn’t for him. It never lasts. But my goodness does he wish it were possible so he could keep Gracie for himself. But he just can’t.

    He may not have known how to say those three little words, but my goodness...the gestures, his actions, his responses... they showed so. Much. Love.

    Watching him work for her love, fight for her attention punched me hard in the feels. He so badly wanted her heart, but knew he’d eventually break it.

    As emotional as this was, it also gave me its share of smiles and giggles. Richard Van Ryan & Jaxson in the same room together is a hilarious thing. Their banter was everything. The over bearing, overprotective father up against the arrogant alphahole Jaxson, both being a bit possessive over Grace.

    I’ve come to realize I can count on Melanie to give me a quality story, all the feels, and lovable characters. This story is a perfect example of that. Loved it!!!

    Did I read the Vested Interest or The Contract series before this one? No. Do I wish I did? Yes! Will I go back and read them? Most definitely! I need more Richard!

    I finished reading My Saving Grace yesterday, but I can’t seem to come up with the right words to describe this book. All of my usual words don’t seem good enough. This book captured me, brought me back into a world I love - the BAM world - and let me see a character who I had only seen before as a child become a woman. How do I describe the feelings it gave me in the proper words?
    Grace is Richard VanRyan’s oldest daughter. She may resemble her mother, Katy, but she is her father’s daughter! She is starting her internship with a law firm before she takes the bar exam. Her mentor is Jaxson Richards. An older, established man with a past that has left him jaded when it comes to relationships. They both have an attraction to each other but don’t voice it since he’s her boss.
    I loved Grace! She is strong, determined, driven and knows what she wants out of life. She’s also compassionate, loving, and loyal. She was a perfect combination of Richard and Katy!
    Jaxson is an interesting man. His childhood was anything but good, which has scared him and made him very untrusting of people. He doesn’t believe in love or forever, just the right now. Then Grace walks into his office! She brings out the caring side of him he has never experienced! He begins to see more then just now with her, but he doesn’t know how that’s suppose to work.
    It was absolutely WONDERFUL to visit with all the BAM characters again!! I have missed them! I have to say that Katy and Addi are my favorites! It was also wonderful to see the relationship between Jaxson and Richard!! Too funny! Oh, and Michael is my favorite new character!!! Loved him!
    This book was fantastic, amazing, wonderful, etc, etc!!!! It moved me, touched my heart, and made me happy! I highly recommend this book!!!!

    Grace was a smart and ambitious woman who grew up in a loving family. She was an articling student for hot-shot lawyer, Jaxson, who was very volatile. They shared a strong attraction but Jaxson could not commit. There was a lot of hurt and I admired Grace for being so graceful. It was a good read and there were lots of side characters from previous books.

    But this book was al over the place and liked nothing about it. Most of all Jaxson. Don't know if i will be reading other books in this series if they are going to be like this one.

    I knew reading the A Merry Vested Wedding novella that I was gonna fall in love with this new series from Melanie Moreland and I wasn’t wrong.....

    Following on from the BAM boys stories, this series focuses on the lives and loves of their grown children.

    Grace VanRyan is such a daddy’s girl... both in her relationship with her father but also in how like him she is in manner and characteristics (though she shares a load of traits with her mom!!). I love that she is so focussed on what she wants to do, knows her mind and loves with her whole heart. I hated when she was hurt, even though I understood the reasoning when it was revealed, it still broke my heart that she had felt the way she did..

    Jaxson Richards comes across as an arrogant ass except when, for the most part, he’s dealing with Grace. The confirmed bachelor is knocked for six when he meets Gracie and to be honest, he’s not got a chance in hell of recovering.... until he blows it big time!!! Again, I got it, afterwards.. but at the time I wanted to throw him under a train!

    The road to their HEA was not going to be an easy one for Jaxson, but I loved that he was a determined and stubborn as his Gracie. She gave him a run for his money but gods, I was rooting for them from the get go and I couldn’t wait to see how things would go for them.

    Catching up with the BAM family and meeting the ABC kids whose books are coming was a lot of fun and reminded me of exactly why I adore Melanie’s writing.

    I’m so looking forward to the next book in the series and finding out who’s gonna be next to fall.....

    A must read in my opinion.

    I read the Vested Interest series of books and enjoyed every single one of them for very different reasons. Now we move to the next generation and it didn't dissapoint! Gracie's story was a great read, the feelings she and Jaxon had smouldering were building up to fireworks. It was lovely to be enveloped in the world of BAM and now ABC. To feel the warmth of that huge family, envelope you. Draw you in and make you feel welcome again into their world. It made me sad at times for the struggles of Jaxon and Gracie in their relationship, a little naughty too as they broke rules but it also made me laugh out loud at the antics of Jaxon and Gracie's dad, Richard.. I so enjoyed this book. Thankyou MM.
