"There are a few authors that do manage to get in my head enough with their work. This gal's book has done PRECISELY that. I had nightmares for two nights straight!" - Amazon ReviewerHow do you explain something that you can't prove or touch? You know without a doubt that something is there, lurking in the corner, watching your every move yet invisible to the naked eye ... Your heart thuds and pounds against your ribs. Your fear spikes so high that your stomach twists and turns, and your pores prick with chill before layering your skin with a fine sheen of sweat. And when you sleep . . . you can feel them, smell them, see them, but no one else can. It haunts you in the night, holding you prisoner to your bed, tormenting you with an unrelenting terror. You're paralyzed and helpless, unable to scream, unable to think rationally . . . unable to move.Is this the trick of the mind, or is Victoria truly plagued with REAL demons?Based on a true story, it's the stuff of nightmares . . . literally. This is part one, two, and three of the Night of Terror series. A scariest ghost stories are the ones that are true
The scariest ghost stories are the ones based on real events. This trilogy is based on things that happened to this author. It made me more intrigued and I want to sit down with her and find out more. This was legit scary. And this narrator really made me feel the story. This story follows a family being plagued by hauntings through the years. It has a woman wondering if she's crazy. Also her fear that her husband and family won't believe her. And a child really being affected. I had chills and goosebumps the whole time. A great horror read/listen for all paranormal fans!

I listened to this while walking my dog in the dark. I don't recommend doing that. This is a paranormal realism story that makes you think twice about that shadow you saw out of the corner of your eye, the chill on the back of your neck, the bad feeling in a certain part of the building. Recommended for fans of found footage films and paranormal investigations. A story that is by turns creepy, dark and fantastic, it is sure to creep into your nightmares. Based on a true story, this is an all to believable, intensely descriptive tale of things that go bump in the night. The narrator did an excellent job capturing the emotions of the story.

This is an honest and voluntary review of an ARC

I am writing a review on the audible version of this book.

This is a wonderful, short and fast read! Truly creepy and thrilling. Had me on the edge of my seat throughout! D. Fischer has such a way with words that you are sucked into the story before you know it and the narrator brings all the thrills to life! If you like scary stories based on a true story, then this book is for you!

Listened to though Audible. Very good short story. Enjoyable narration. Adding the "Based on a True Story" note makes for an even more interesting of a listen.
