    Miranda was a beautiful woman who married you to a man ten years her senior. Her husband of fourteen years was abusive by continuing to body shame her. She did all the work around the house and for her catering company. On her wedding anniversary, she received a call from the hotel that her husband Roy had set up for his mistress. Nero got married to a woman who he had no interest but it was done while he was in a drunken state. When she showed up to the hotel to handle the issue she went to the room in hope of catching her husband in the room with his mistress but he found a man sitting in the chair. Come to find out the mistress was Nero’s wife whom he had tried to get the marriage annulled. Miranda had no idea that Nero was the man who had been obsessed and watching her for over a year. They had an instant chemistry and Nero decided they would get their revenge by being together. Miranda had no idea that her husband was gagged and tied in a chair in the closet with all the evidence of him and Nero wife. The story shows how a man brought a woman with low self esteem to become a butterfly. 🦋. Loved the story and I recommend reading it.

    I love it when the heroine is a plus sized woman. Big girl deserve love too, and I'm happy Miranda gets it from Nero. This book was hot, hot, h-o-t-t HOT! I loved how he couldn't keep his hands off of her, and loved her the way she deserved to be loved. I liked the bit of mystery and didn't see the culprit coming. I was so happy to see Miranda get her happily ever after ,because she deserved it after dealing with that turd burger of a husband. There wasn't anything about this book that I didn't love. Five plus stars all around.

    Yee gawds I loved their short story we were gifted months ago and instantly wanted more of these two. Our beloved author granted us readers our wish of more and man am I not disappointed. The beginning of the book is a repeat of the short story but then we get into the extra. These two characters are panty soaking, hot and combustible not to mention leaves you wanting more. Yes the middle of their story is filled with a LOT of sexy times but that's not a bad thing. Then we get treated to more story and a wonderful ending. Cannot say enough about this author!!!!

    I want to preface my review with the fact that Shandi Boyes is one of my top 3 favorite authors. I loved Nero and Miranda. I did struggle to follow the story. Sometimes, the sentence structure was kind of off and it was hard to follow what was happening. Almost like the sentences ran together and large words were used when simple ones would have sufficed. I had to go back and re-read a lot of this book to follow along and I still felt like I was missing information. Also, the spice was great, but I feel like the story was rushed. Nero and Miranda had a lot of heat, but sometimes I felt like the story line wasn't as important as the spicy scenes, which is a bummer because Shandi can completely BREAK me with a beautifuly heartbreaking story. (Maddox changed me forever.) I still really liked the book and wanted to give it 5 stars but because of how it's written, I just couldn't. It won't deter me from reading Shandi's next book though, and it shouldn't deter you either!

    Not what I expected, just when I thought I figured it out, plot twist, then another. I loved how Miranda was referred to as a butterfly and how Nero grew her wings, giving her the confidence she needed. Miranda may have been lacking in confidence, but she has a sassy and firing attitude when she wanted and Nero just helped bring it out more. Loved how Nero, knew what he wanted and went for it. Loved how he loves Miranda. Loved all the banter between the characters.

    We got a little sneak into Nero and Miranda late last year. 3 chapters to be precise. I am so grateful Shandi decided to give us more. It isn't the usual size of her books but boy does it have as much punch as the others like Nikolai and crew. This book is about a plus size woman. I will not spoil or elaborate on the story line. Just believe me, when I say, you will love it. Well worth waiting for.

    The book was a good read. It had a lot of spice and I enjoyed it. It was a short comfort read and the obsessed MMC was all a girl could ask for. The plot developed nicely although the ending did feel a bit, let's say, anticlimactic. I was hoping for a better ending to the mystery than the one we recieved. Also, in some paragraphs, the lines were too long to make sense. Deciphering the meaning behind those sentences took extra time and frankly, ruined the flow of the book so I believe that is something which could be improved. Otherwise the book was great and I enjoyed it.
