About the author

Billie Dale lives in no-where middle earth. Lost in a small village in the Midwest with four kids, three animals and an amazing, word inspiring-book boyfriend, worthy husband.
A blogger by nature and a writer because she got tired of arguing with the voices in her head. She loves and lives the words on the page, whether writing them or reading them; her life is consumed by the worlds her head creates.
Her greatest wish is for readers to fall in love with her words as much as she loves writing them. She loves to create new worlds to explore and writing words that will take root in your soul.
Paranormal, New Adult, Romantic Comedy, Contemporary — there is not one box she fits in. She’s a rebel in the author world who writes what her head tells her even it jumps from genre to genre.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2018Loved reading this book a brilliant retelling of a great fairytale but for adults but with a very sexy twist. An enjoyable fast paced read with great characters that I couldn't put down until I finished
- Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2018It’s well written if we’re discussing grammar and spelling, I’ll give you that. Pity the bratty, crude, and tasteless comments from characters made them waste what potential charm they could evoke. Skipped through more than half the book. Sad it was the women’s characters represented in the worst way.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 23, 2018This was my first time reading Billie Dale and I got the biggest kick from this book! I will say that in the beginning, it was hard for me to reset the mental images I had for some of the characters from the animated movies I've watched into the human-ish characters who are indulging in adult sexy times lol. I liked the twist each character was given, and it was still easy to see some resemblance of the characters in the story against the characters we grew up with.
For the most part, Mallory does what she can to try and be invisible; she's already a bit self-conscious about her height, she's super self-conscious about her horns; of course it doesn't help that she works with the same people who bullied her when they were younger. Add to that the shirts her mom wears and it's no wonder Mallory and it's no wonder she doesn't like to draw attention to herself. Too bad that didn't work the day she met Stefan.
Stefan is somewhat of a mystery since he doesn't talk about his past or his family, and there's his second job he doesn't talk about, but there is a reason why he's not exactly forthcoming about that one aspect of his life. I like that he's pretty much straight forward about his feelings for Mallory, although his reluctance to talk about certain aspects of his life lead to a maelstrom of emotions on Mallory's part that seem to have dire consequences for both of them.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2018I decided to take a risk on this story, so far most of the retellings of fairytales have been almost word for word of what we already know with a few added lines or just a minor adjustment or two. I did research this authors prior reviews to see if I should take the risk. I’m so glad I did or I would have missed out on a hilarious story with loads of heat and a vulnerable heart.
Mallory is spunky, insecure, fiercely loyal with such a caring heart mix of fairy and orge. Stefan is a one woman guy, with his own insecurities, a big heart and a giant sized case of devotion not to mention smoking hot.
This book had me laughing, snorting, giggling and in some parts getting a bit teary. You will take a walk back in time as you visit the 80’s and remember the big hair days, the wild T-shirts and the cheesy movies.
The inner monologue of Mallory and Stefan not to mention their male and female parts, which really does add to the hilarity of the story will have you howling with laughter at times. Throw in an over protective capable of hurting you bellow the belt helicopter mother who is “The Fairy Godmother” and a sexy fiendishly bad girl best friend Ursula and you have the perfect combination for a different view of what we thought we knew about Maleficent.
The author also throw’s in some other fairytale characters along the way see if you recognize them.
Mallory and Stefan’s road to their not perfect HEA is filled with hilarious moments, secrets and lets just say Stefan’s is a case of role reversal and some bullying of a caught between two worlds young lady and you have this story.
So glad I gave this story and author a chance. I am interested in more stories by this author as this one had humor, heat and heart.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2018If you enjoyed fairytales as a child and now like stories that are pure fantasy, these books are for you. Or if you’re like me and just need a break from the usual kinda of books, this is for you. I laughed so hard at some of the scenes in the book that several times I had to wait for the tears of laughter to stop so I could resume reading. It really is a cute story, with a lot of familiar childhood fairytale characters making appearances throughout the storyline. I received an advance review copy of this book in exchange for reading it and providing an honest review.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 24, 2018I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I really enjoyed reading this story about Steffan and Mallory. Mallory is the daughter of a fairy godmother and an ogre and she is currently the guidance counselor at a local high school along with her best friend is Ursulette Aka Letty. Mallory tries to hide and be invisible since she had tell horns on the top of her head, which she was teased about when she was younger. Letty and Mal or headed to a orientation for the first day of school, they stopped at a local coffee shop and they try to pay with a card but having problems. Steffan happens to be behind them and feel sorry for them so he offers to pay. He can't get over Mal's Allure. The girls scurry away and head to the school imagine both of their surprise when my trips and none other than Steffan catches her again. Unfortunately she manages the best him in the chin and a few other places causing him to sit on the ground laugh like crazy. There's an instant chemistry between the two Mal is afraid. Mallory is hiding her horns from him and he is hiding a secret from her they may ultimately hurt them both literally. Definitely recommend this read, it's easy it's fun and it's got great characters that we all know. Love the twist that happens with characters from our past but still new and fun.
