4.0 out of 5 stars 3,487 ratings

Everything I suffer, you will too…

Lauren has worked hard to create her dream life: a perfect fiancé, a great job, and a safe, cosy home.

But then, out of the blue, it all goes horribly wrong and Lauren finds her job is on the line, her fiancé is accusing her of cheating and someone is writing terrible things on her car.

At first, Lauren thinks this is a horrible run of bad luck. But as her life spins out of control in a series of escalating disasters, it begins to dawn on her that these aren’t random events.

She’s under attack. And she’s certain that whoever is doing this won’t stop until they’ve completely destroyed her life.

But she’s wrong – they won’t stop until she’s dead.

Now You Know – the stunning psychological thriller perfect for fans of Mark Edwards, K. L. Slater, Miranda Rijks.

This was a really good book. The writing is good and the plot is exceptional.

Lauren has a great life. She is good at her job and enjoys it. And she is engaged to the love of her life. They have bought their first home together and she is looking forward to starting a family. Then it all seems to fall apart. Suddenly she is losing everything. Who is doing this to her? Who hates her this much? Who is her enemy?

If you can figure out the enemy, you are better than me. I was completely surprised. I highly recommend this one. If you like these kind of thrillers, you will love this one.

I bought this book while browsing on Amazon today.

This one showed up on my recommended list, and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't really interesting either. As protagonist Lauren's life spirals downhill, it does do a realistic job of highlighting how easy it is to cause trouble for people if you have a foothold in their digital lives. I did find it hard to believe that all of Lauren's friends and family of two plus decades would all turn on her when things they know she would never agree with start showing up on her social media - surely at least a few would have given her the benefit of the doubt.

Unfortunately I identified the culprits early, so this turned it to a rather predictable thriller with an ending that was just meh. For 99 cents, I'd say this was worth it, but I'd have been disappointed if I'd paid any more.

A thriller, for the mystery lover, A treat to read! What happens when your life spins out of control? Lauren has everything, A handsome fiancee, A great job, money in the bank, A cozy home she shares with her soon to be husband. Has she lost her mind, since her mother died, her life took a detour. Great characters, A well formed plot, one that I was shocked at the end. A great read! Enjoy it as much as I did!

I liked the pace of the book. I found most of the story line believable. My issues were the amount of incidents that keep happening and her not reporting to the authorities and the ending for me a little scrambled.

This was a very enjoyable read with good suspense. I really had no idea who the villain was until it was revealed at the end. Although the life changing issues that arose through being hacked may seem far fetched, with today's technology all these things could actually happen. Told entirely from the protagonist's point of view the tension really ramps up as her life spins out of control.

4.0 out of 5 stars Incredibly tense
Reviewed in Germany on December 16, 2021
    Summary:
When Lauren gets dirty messages from a number she doesn't recognize, she thinks it's some kind of sick joke. But then, her fiancé finds letters from a supposed lover, and a sex video with Lauren in it. But it can't be her, since she's always been faithful, hasn't she? Suddenly, everything in her life is going down the drain: Someone's sending nasty e-mails to her clients and her boss, racist comments appear on her social media, and she cannot access any of her money. What has she done to make somebody hate her this bad?

    My opinion:
I was literally flying through the pages, I just loved the tense atmosphere of this book! This is the kind of stay-up-way-too-late-reading kind of book that keeps you guessing until the end. I liked Lauren as a character and absolutely felt for her. The ending, as well as the possibility to single-handedly make someone the world's most hated person (no, I did not exaggerate. That's in the book.) Were a little too far-fetched for my liking, but hey, it's called fiction for a reason.

Parts of this book reminded me of:
    - I Don't Forgive You by Aggie Blum Thompson

This was my first book by Nora Valters, and it won't be my last!

Interesting book. It gets good but the end was iffy. It was a bit too much but it has a good story.
