USA Today Bestselling author Kat Mizera is a South Florida native. Born in Miami Beach with a healthy dose of wanderlust, she's called Los Angeles, Long Island, upstate New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Atlanta home. She's never been able to pick which locale is her favorite, but if pressed, she'd probably choose the west coast.

Kat's a typical PTA mom with a wonderful and supportive husband (Kevin) and two amazing boys (Nick and Max). When she's not writing, she's either scrapbooking or indulging in her second love (after writing) - traveling. Greece is one of her favorite places in the world. She loves that Athens is a big city with a small-town feel. The food, beaches and culture keep her going back as often as possible. She hopes to retire there one day so she can spend her days writing books on the beach.

As you can guess from her series, the Las Vegas Sidewinders, Kat loves hockey. She is also a freelance hockey writer, covering her favorite team, the Florida Panthers, and any other teams that have an interesting story.     I usually don't like when one story is broken into three books but this one kept me hooked. Each book rolls into the next (following the same hero and heroine throughout) as if it were one. There is so much going on in this trilogy that I couldn't even explain it to a friend. It has a bit of everything. Most of all, I absolutely could not stop reading! This is an amazing story that I couldn't put down until I finished every word. I have gotten to the point where it's hard to find a book that holds my attention or that I can't guess the where it is going but this one had me on the edge of my seat throughout. Dive in - you won't be sorry!!

    Nowhere Left to Fall is beyond fabulous. Kat Mizera pulls you in from the start with Erik and Casey. I love the sizzle between these childhood friends. There is so much heat and passion between them that will leave you fanning yourself. Erik, you can't help but fall in love with him. His passion for his country and easy-going ways just make him so hot. I love how he tries to protect Casey from his cousin Anwar. Don't get me started on him. You will have to read this to see why I say that. Casey is not what you would expect from a rock and roll star. She is fabulous. I love her loyalty to Erik and how she doesn't back down easily. Nowhere Left to Fall is full of love and a suspenseful twist that will leave you itching to get your hands on the next book. I will say this, this is book one and you will need to read in order. I couldn't put this one down and was just sucked in from the start. I loved every moment of this one and felt a little gutted with Erik and Casey by the end. I need the next one now. Cliffy warning but it is oh so good. Go one-click this one.

    Nowhere Left to Fall grabbed me right from the beginning and I held on tight to the end because this story is fantastic! It is the perfect combination of interesting characters, a unique storyline and twists and turns to keep the pages turning.
    Erik and Casey are childhood friends who now as adults have so much chemistry and passion that I had to fan myself as I read their story, but Erik’s royal family drama is going to throw everything they want into a tailspin of epic proportion. Hang on because this book is not the end of their story. The trilogy will continue books two and three and I can’t wait!

    This is such a beautiful book, falling in love, living through tragedy. The characterisation is exceptional, I became truly invested in the characters, with not only the leads but also the supporting characters being so well crafted.
    It's the first book, their story continues with a second book, but it doesn't end on a cliff hanger (I hate those!) It ends as one part of life concludes, just like people do in real life.
    There are no grammatical or editorial errors which makes for smooth reading.
    There are some sex scenes each of them appropriate and loving, although there are references to DV it is not described.
    I will be purchasing the next book in this series.
    I highly recommend the book.
