    I've read several Glynn Stewart series, but I've never been crazy about magical police procedurals. Stewart has very quickly forced me to let go of that prejudice. I'm really enthusiastic about starting the first full-length novel, "To Serve and Protect."

    As fire this, the Novella was VERY short, yet gave me enough of a taste to start reading the series. It's not a space opera, yet Stewart has such an extraordinary grasp and mastery of the written word that I have become a Fan. Going on my 27 book. Enjoy .

    der Titel Murder by Magic, dieser kurzen Novelle, wurde von Amazon während des Lesens von Glynn Stewarts Buchreihe im Starship Universum immer wieder auf, da musste ich schlicht neugierig geworden reinlesen. Die kurze Geschichte war gut durchdacht und ich wollte mehr! Die Charaktere wurden in folgenden auch glaubhaft eingeführt, ich trauerte mit dem zuletzt getöteten Nebencharakter mit dem, den Helden. Glynn Stewart ist ein zu richtig erfolgreich produktiver Autor und ich kann ihn wärmstens ans Herz legen ;)
    Selbst freue ich mich auf weitere Bände dieser Reihe UND auch aus dem Starship Universum.
    Ich genieße es GS Bücher mehrfach zu lesen oder zu hören, langweilig werden sie nie, nehmen ein passend zum Geschehen flottes Tempo, wo es schonmal allzu spannend werden kann, an :)
    Kurz ich freue mich als Leser auf die Weiterentwicklung des Hauptcharakters/der Charaktere und der Lösung neuer Probleme dieser magischen Welt, die zu mehr aus dieser Welt motivieren Die Geschichte dieser urbanen Noir Welt anderer Art des Krimis, ist erdgebunden, will sagen: anders als die Welt der Starshipmage Universum Reihe, ist es keine space opera, die sich manchmal Lichtjahre von Erde und Mars entfernt, auf anderen Welten und in Raumschiffen abspielt. Wenn ich ein neues seiner Bücher beginne, kann ich es (fast) nicht aus der Hand legen.
    MbM hat selbst ein befriedigendes Ende. Die überzeugende Welt macht aber auch Lust auf mehr.
