On Stage (On Campus Book 1) Kindle Edition
I've always expected to find a nice average guy one day, but I can't deny that there's something about Jackson that calls to me. We met almost a year ago and he hasn't made any move. I guess he doesn't really want me?
JACKSON
When I saw Mia almost a year ago, I knew that she was going to be mine, but I had a lot to prove before I could make that happen. I had a bad reputation on campus for going through women and I didn't want her to get the wrong idea. Now that she's working on a project in the Theater department, I know I can't wait any longer to make her mine.

About the author

Ember Davis loves alpha heroes with a range of emotions, but a strong sense of how to take care of their women. She loves her heroines from all walks of life, just like her heroes, and she wants them to be real and relatable. Her heroines tend to be sassy, opinionated and smart.
Ember is a stay at home mom of two who recently refound her love of books and all things romance and is so glad that she did. She’s always been creative, but writing and creating stories that she would love to read satisfies the dreams she had as a little girl. She loves butterflies, the color purple and enjoying time with her family.
Pssst…it’s totally a pen name, but everything above is 100% true.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 27, 2023Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI love this story from beginning to the end it is in the top 2 of my favorites. The way he loved her would be any woman fantasy although I am not into the Dom and Sub story line I love it regardless. Thanks for an awesome read. Would definitely recommend this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2023Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThe main characters are juniors in college and they met at a party a year prior. There's an instant connection and attraction but neither acted on it. The H felt that he wasn't worthy of her because of his
playboy reputation so he set out to clean up his act before pursuing the h. She's self conscious, has a lifetime of insecurities,
and doesn't like the spotlight. Both MC's are kind and intelligent.
There was another review that mentioned the H being called a
bastard so much and I agree it got annoying. That word was used
17 times in this book. It was supposed to be a playful thing but
was overdone. Smirk/smirks was also used 46 times. Quite a few mixed up words (his/her/me, their/our). A couple spelling mistakes and a run on sentence that could have used a comma. These errors should've been caught by a proofreader.
Overall, very enjoyable story to read. I looked to see if there was a book 2 with Sawyer and Ali but not yet. I'd read that if it was written. This book had likeable main characters and an interesting storyline. Good enough to read once.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2022Format: KindleVerified PurchaseLoved this book and the instachemistry between the two main characters. Ember Davis is great at writing the connection between all the characters, not just the main characters. Would love to see Ali’s story too.

I liked this story. The plot isn't new, but I liked it. All I can say is that I had trouble believing these were college kids. VERY adult situations and thinking. Jackson was extremely mature for his age and Mia was a young woman who wasn't a pushover. They turned out to be a good match.
Decent read. It kept my attention.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2021Format: KindleReally liked the story. I love Mia & Jackson. The calling him "bastard" in jest was a bit of an overkill but other than that it was really good.
