A cat at heart and a hopeless herbal tea addict. Prefers imaginary worlds to the real one, but shamelessly uses fiction to tackle real-life issues. Not good with people.

Yes to m/m love stories! Ah! The only problem with this one: NOT LONG ENOUGH. I need more Kan in my life, dammit. This story was amazing, and it was so amazing to see a non-cheezy gay character on the page. No stereotypes, no ignorant representation. I loved it. Thoroughly. Read it a few too many times in between times when I should have been working.

As a powerful sorcerer, Kan is on a ship going to colonize a new world. And of course, he finds himself surrounded with some awesome eye candy. We get to see him overcome som hate, which is important in today's world, and it was refreshing. Love it. Recommend this author all the way.

This short fantasy is steeped in nasty images of human behavior hidden by fantasy, and it offers a tantalizing way out, tainted by a hidden agenda. The masterful writing makes the fantasy seem real.

The best thing about this story is the main character, who had me laughing with his attitude and sarcasm.
