If you love absolute horror this book is for you the short stories within will have you sleeping with the lights on. The stories are phenomenal and full of gore I loved it. I highly recommend this book to mature horror readers not for anyone under the age of 18. I received this book my request and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review here.

A collection of psychological derangement which will draw from you your darkest imaginations. Stories of isolation, madness and fear. Are these stories for the timid...NO. Be prepared to endure to the end.

This array of tales delves into our dark fears. I had chills all the way through. Tony Eyenot hits the nail on the head with these stories. I read them in one sitting. Prepare to be wrapped in this book!

Of Nightmare Realities is a short story collection by the creatively talented Toneye Eyenot and is one of a non-linear series of books containing his impressive short works. The basic theme of this one is evident in the title. Of Nightmare Realities. Toneye’s brazen style and dry, dark humor pull the reader down into horrors both conceptual and graphic. Let’s look, shall we?

“Deathday Wishes” takes the concept of “what if you knew when you were going to die” and twists it into its most nightmarish possibilities. The tension of this story as it builds to its horrifying climax had me physically and emotionally exhausted.

“The Zalgo Incident” is a blatant, haunting story of nightmarish violence in the wake of one foolish choice.

“Tree’s A Charm” is Toneye’s brilliant take on a classic theme of distracted wandering and the evil that preys upon the innocent and ignorant.

“Quad” is the graphic first-person account of an apocalyptic style event, brilliantly written with a maddening climax and ending. This one will haunt you for days to come.

“Grey Matter” is a cold and tragic tale of the alien abduction experience that will pull mercilessly at both your sanity and your heart.

“Alternative Facts” is a story of gruesome reality vs. conspiracy theory when the unimaginable is happening around us. What do you believe when you can’t believe what anyone says?

“Namia Fox” is every loving parent’s worst nightmare taken to unimaginable depths of terror and insanity. This is a daring piece and I do not want to know what inspired Toneye to write something so conceptually horrifying.

And so concludes this vivid collection of Nightmare Realities. One will notice that there is a repetitive theme of “nightmarish” and “haunting” to my review. Just so. These are living nightmares, horrors that challenge reality and sanity, concepts too close to events we hear and read about in daily life. While one will find oneself compelled to read these stories all in one sitting, and would likely enjoy doing so, one should take warning that such a journey may just lead to nightmares.

An array of strange and eerie stories filled with mystery leaving the reader to ponder on what is reality and what is a nightmare.
