    Taylor- a personal assistant to a well known film director- wants nothing more than to stay out of the spotlight, which is probably why she chooses to stay behind the camera instead of in front of it. She is strong, focused, and driven and only has the goals for her future on her mind. That is, until Eli- a handsome up and coming actor- walks into her life. As much as she tries to stay away from Eli, she is drawn to him. Both of their stories are completely relatable and their relationship will make your heart swoon. I didnt want the book to end! Can't wait to read more of their story in the future!

    I tried. I really did. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I didn’t connect at all. I feel like this book had potential to be really good but it just kept falling flat. Wayyyy to much inner dialogue all talk no show kind of thing. It would have benefited from duel POVs. Instead of having any adult conversations Taylor would literally stomp away like a child. There was a lot of weird texting with her friends that were supposed to be funny? I guess… but I just ended up skipping over them. Idk this book was all over the place. I don’t laugh I didn’t cry and I certainly didn’t gasp. If one of my friends asked me for a good celebrity Romance book this would not be the one I’d recommend.

    I honestly wasn't sure in the beginning how much I was going to like Taylor as she seemed to be so unsure of herself. As the story unfolded I really started to want her to get her happily ever after. Her life may have been easy financially but she had missed so much in the way of love and family support. Eli was fun and flirty but didn't come off as the cocky player that he was made out to be in the beginning. I was rooting for him early on.

    It was fun to see the backstage side of the movie industry. I loved how much Taylor matured and gained confidence in herself. Taylor's girls are amazing and I hope we get to see them get their happy endings too. Everyone needs friends to boost you up when needed, cheer on your accomplishments and call you on your BS. It was nice to see someone not letting fame change them. Fun, sweet slow burn.

    Taylor has a big chance to make something of herself on her own terms if she can keep from being distracted by Eli the star of the movie she is being a director’s PA at. She doesn’t want any attention brought to her and dating the star of the movie would do that but Eli likes her and he is not easily deterred. I liked everything about this story except the ending and I hope we hear more about Taylor and Eli in the coming books. I requested this book from the author and I have chosen to review it

    Taylor has been in the film screen since she was born with her mom being an actress. Taylor wants nothing to do with the front of the camera but behind it is what she wants and has moved in the right direction. Eli is an up and coming actor that is one heck of a guy and since first glimpse of Taylor he is trying to get her to notice him but she’s not wanting anything to do with him. She’s been burned before and doesn’t want that again. But slowly he breaks down her walls and makes her want more but is still scared. Things start out rocky with them when the truth of her father is coming out and they are spotted and pictures are out there and they have to deal with it. A great book and can’t wait to read about her friends next.
