One Wild Omega: An MPREG Omegaverse Book (Alphas of the Western Provinces 2) Kindle Edition

4.3 out of 5 stars 825 ratings

From the first moment they met, Tanner McCreary and Fitz Walker have always had a love-hate relationship. One that bordered more on the latter, much to the chagrin of Tanner—who knew from first glance that Fitz was his alpha. For some reason, Fitz acted like he wanted absolutely nothing to do with him. Even with the scent masking drug, Scentex, keeping them free, an omega’s alphas always seemed to sense something in the air when close.

But that wasn’t the case with Fitz.

So Tanner backed off, licked his wounds, and figured fate would lead them back together someday. Maybe then things would be different.

Someday came, but only made the situation worse. Tanner learned they shared a close friend in common—another omega—one Fitz eventually bedded. Brokenhearted, Tanner was sure the gods, fate, or
whoever was in charge of binding an alpha and an omega together had gotten it very, very wrong.

His mate
wasn’t the one apparently. Tanner lied to himself, saying he didn’t care, and kept his secret close. When the truth finally emerges, Fitz knows he has mountains to climb to make things right, and even that might not be enough.

This was like 70% angst and I loved it!! It wasn’t soul crushing angst but the good kind of angst, at least to me, ya know? 😉

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Tanner heartbroken and crushed. Does that make me a sadist then? 🤔 Anyways, that’s hardly the point. The tension between Fitz and Tanner was palpable and on the surface and also in your face that it was like a separate entity that reared its ugly head whenever the two of them were in each other’s general vicinity and gosh, does it crush Tanner each and every time. It was great! 🙊

I wasn’t sure how Kelex would reconcile the two mates because while the tension was painfully beautiful, I honestly didn’t know how she was going to fix it after six years?!? But gosh, it was done really well. Kudos!! 👏👏👏👏👏

I enjoyed this thoroughly! Read it all the way through the night even though I was coughing up a lung and should probably have gone to bed early to “rest” but pfft....nothing comes in the way of a good book. Am I right or am I right?? 👻

I love this universe and can’t wait to be back in it! Hopefully sometime soon 🤞

I feel like this book gets a bad rep from the reviews. Did both Fitz and Tanner make mistakes throughout the book? Yes. Did they hurt each other, either on purpose or accidentally? Yes. Was there an explanation for the way Fitz reacted to Tanner? Yes. Did it excuse the way he acted? Heck no, but in some ways Tanner didn’t help either.

I felt for both men throughout the book. They were both inadvertently robbed of this magical experience and that’s terrible. I do agree that there was ALOT of Bellamy in this book, however it’s pertinent to the story and detailing the pain that was experienced and the growth these two made separately and together.

This is a great story, and a great series. I’m excited to move on to the next!

I was just introduced to this series and author as a suggested read on Kindle. I can honestly say that it has been a wonderful finding. This series so far is fantastic. All of the characters have great foundations that are fleshed out just enough without overwhelming you with tedious, boring details. While I love all the characters, well not Charles, my favorite is Tanner. Hiding all of his true feelings, the hurt, love, anger all behind sassy snark is something so many of us do. All he silently endured while putting on the happy face made my heart break for him. This was a book I would recommend for anyone that likes an enemies to lovers storyline. This has it all and when he and his alpha finally see the light, their union is both sweet and passionate. I truly hope book three is coming soon. Beau really needs his HEA too!

This book was a bit of a disappointment to me. The central issue of realizing one's mate took up most of the book instead of being resolved early enough for further plot development. There were a lot of unhappy, painful flashbacks. The reader will be taken on a ride with very little joy until perhaps the last 20% or so, with a lot of bickering and bad feelings before that. Tanner and Fitz do get their HEA, but there is very little build of the relationship, passion, and romance before the final resolution chapters. I've read all of the other books in the eastern and western provinces series and this was my least favorite. I like some more romance in my romance novels. I will try another one when released and hope for better.

If you’ve read the previous book you would know about tanner and Fitz. This story was really heartbreaking and my heart struggled at times to read it. But as I started reading it I really started hating fitz. Honestly I think Tanner is better off without him. Tanner could be like one of Fitz’s brother and be with a beta instead. The author rushed the ending too fast literally about 80% of the book was about all the hurt Fitz and Bellamy inflicted on tanner. After reading this I really hated Bellamy. Like after you found out that you’ve been sleeping with your best friends alpha you don’t even bother going to tanner and getting on your knees and beg for forgiveness? Tanner literally picked up Bellamy off the streets gave him everything and in return couldn’t do the decency to apologize. I didn’t like Fitz character like he would constantly reject tanner over and over. He made tanner feel like crap all the time. Tanner even caught Bellamy and Fitz in the act before I mean how do you walk away from over 7 years of constant pain and rejection? In the last 20% the author made Fitz and tanner come together too fast like how do you just forgive someone so fast in a matter of weeks wen he’s hurt you for over 7 years and now you want to mate him and forgive everything he’s done? It wasn’t even too long that Fitz was still looming over Bellamy and Fitz never got on his knee to apologize for that. Now that I think about it Fitz never apologized for much of his actions. That was my only problem with the book that could’ve been solved

At the end of this book I went over the list of different books KelEx has written and I relaxed, thinking: there is more than enough creative work available to enjoy. Why this intro? Because the writer does not give us more of the same. I kept getting surprised all through the story with a plot that didn’t unfold as usual. The description of the MC’s personalities, Tanner’s wild streak and stubborn angst (I call it) became a vicious circle he and Fitz, a handsome and kind alpha, got caught up in. And the twist with the scentex! Masterful. All that amidst the close-knit family and friend (Raimy!) who have their backs. Which shows that love always finds a way. The unravelling with hót heat-induced sex scenes I recommend this book and wait patiently (not!) for the next book in the series to come out!

Reading the blurb made me (almost) cry and Tanner and Fitz‘s story was just everything I hoped it would be. I hurt and cried with Tanner, was happy that he got Raimy as a friend, got angry with Fitz for breaking Tanner‘s heart but in the end he made me swoon again.

Wonderful emotional page turner and all the feels.

    I‘m nobody‘s rebound, Fitz Walker. I‘m somebody‘s forever.

Not my usual genre and I one of my first omegaverse reads the first I LOVE. Found it through KU by chance but already bought it only a few pages in <3

Yeah, great book. I loved it. The twists and turns made me not able to put the book down. I liked the timechanges, wich explained to us, why Fitz and Tanner weren't together before. And I definitely liked the faact, that they finally found a way to be together and have their HEA. I highly recommend this book.

Really enjoyed this one, even though my heart hurt for Tanner. I loved the spin on explaining Fitz’s anger towards Tanner.
Now, who is next! Beau? Harrison and Cassidy, oh I hope they get a third!
