⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A story line with an older, mature couple is just as enjoyable and captivating as one with a young twenty something couple. The story is well written and keeps you engaged while finding it hard to stop reading. You enjoy getting to know the characters and find them realistic, easy to relate to and feel like you've known them for years. -buzymomof2

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I didn't know whether to laugh or cry whilst reading this novel, as it pulled on my heartstrings but at the same time, it is sassy, humourous, and hardcore reality. -Margaret W.

Loved this story! This is about Elsa and Trenton. Trenton is Mason's dad and Elsa is Merrick and Beth’s meddlesome but loving mother. She was trying to get Merrick to hurry up and give her some grandkids so she took matters into her own hand and poked holes in his stash of Trojans but she didn’t realize that her daughter would take some for herself and now she is going to be a grandma to two! The funny thing is that she knew she was doing them both a favor even if they didn't want to rush into parenting especially Beth.

The story is funny, sad, hopeful, and loving all bundled together because she is hiding something from her family but Trenton is the first to know giving him an in with her but not realizing how this particular secret affected the family before. Although he promised her to not say anything to anyone, he also promised Merrick to not keep anything from him or his sister. The truth should set some free but in this case, it kicks someone out. Can they both work this out before it is too late? Note, I love small towns because news travels so fast that the last chapters of this book had one rumor going out a bit crazy that Mason was happy for his dad until it was cleared.

I hope Lloyd can find some happiness and he deserves it. Of course, Doc is there doing what he does best. Although each book is a standalone story, it is best to get to know the other characters, so pick up the stories before this, as they won’t let you down. Love what Kelly does with this series and I can’t wait to see who is next!

This entire series is good and well worth adding to your collection! Kelly Collins is a very talented author who can weave believable interesting characters. This is the story of the independent mother of two adults with prior books. She punched holes in her adult son's condoms because she wanted grandchildren and it worked so well that her adult daughter borrowed from her brother's stash and both of her adult kids ended up expecting babies! Both were accidental pregnancies but gave them both HEA in other books in this series. Anyway it was her turn to meet a wonderful man who fell in love with her. Read the somewhat complex story of a beautiful independent, smart, stubborn strong fifty year old woman who raised two children alone to be good people who loved her and contribute to the Community. She never wanted anyone to see her as at all needy or less than strong. Her new man shows her she can let down those walls that protect her heart and letting anyone see she doesn't become less than by getting emotional support and sharing her load. Read it and enjoy. So glad I found Kelly Collins who has written several books I am continuing to add to my collection!

Elsa was a bit a of pushy interfering mother when her actions caused her daughter and future daughter-in-law to be pregnant in previous books. She has a lot of gumption standing up Trenton and negotiating him into what she wanted on house, but he must have wanted more than just a sale from the start or he wouldn't have given in so easily. He finds out early on what Elsa is going through and doesn't run away, but stands by her, and tries to make her see that she doesn't have to deal with it alone and should let her children shoulder some of her burdens too. I can't imagine what Elsa felt especially when her doctor kept dismissing her concerns. It's something I wish no woman has to go through. But she does it with humor and determination.

A great second chance romance. Trenton and Elsa's love lives hadn't been anything near happinness. But csn Aspen Cove's magic bring them together and show them how to relate to each other and open their hearts to love again? Logan McAllister's voice make the steoy better as an audiobook.

I love the characters in Kelly Collins books, the have quirks, glass and great depth of character. Again she has out done herself. Argentina's redemption started in one hundred whispers, but his living, caring side really shines now. So nice to have an over 50 love story too.

Trenton and his ancestors don’t have the best reputations in Aspen Cove, but after realising there is more to life than money, he is trying to change that. Elsa is a strong willed, independent woman, used to getting her own way. They both ended up in Aspen Cove after following their grown up kids there. When they meet they challenge each other and sparks fly. Events in Elsa’s life take a scary turn and she has a hard time ahead. She is not used to asking for help or having it offered but Trenton is determined to be there for her. It was nice to hear some mentions of the beginning of the Aspen Cove series as this is what made it special for me and I am looking forward to the next book.
