    I was presently surprised by this little story. It was a "complete" story (no cliffhanger), yet there is definitely ore to come. It is a story of one girl's journey to find courage and faith and the friends she meets along the way and the love and hope she holds for her people. Very good story and I look forward to continuing the story.

    I don't usually read Teen and Young Adult Fantasy, but I'm very glad I read this. Both the plot and the characters were so compelling I couldn't put it down and finished it in one sitting. Beautifully paced, it is suspenseful and heartwarming. Love the characters and can't wait to read the next one.
