    I was a little worrisome related to this book. My concern was that it was going to be a major taboo story and I didn’t know how I would tolerate it. But overall it was it and it was very gentle but also tame. Geo is WOW 🤩!

    Nicci has not had the best childhood growing up. But she tries to look on the brighter side of life, no matter how bad her situation is. When her inebriated mom finally ddcided to tell her, not only who her dad is, but his location as well. Nicci was so excited at the opportunity to finally meet her dad, that she took her savings and decided to try and locate him based on the info she received from her mom. But then she met this guy on the job, and was seriously crushing on him hoping that he would notice her, and reciprocates similar feelings towards her (a girl can dream... Right?).

    Geo is a loner and is reputed to be a man of few words, non existence patience, and quick to retaliate in getting his message across. With the type of business he is involved in, and the people he finds himself in business with, he has to maintain his ruthless persons, as someone no one wants to mess with or try to take advantage of. Then he met Nicci, and something about her has his mind and body going on instant alert, and certain areas of his anatomy standing at attention. Now he finds himself in a bit of dilemma, as to how quickly he can fix certain areas of his life and dissolve certain business ventures, in order to be that special and only main in her life.

    Will their secrets and hidden enemies hinder their budding relationship, or will they unite to overcome all obstacles?

    This was a crazy start that bloomed into a hot and steamy romance, with a creeper added in to make us all want to take a shower!!

    But you know if Dani has a hand in the writing, you need a towel once you are done. I enjoyed how the story progressed along with the relationships that formed from the young to the seasoned characters!! A well put together story that I recommend!!

    Nicci is a young girl barely making ends meet. When she loses her mother to prison, she is on the hunt to find the man she thinks is her father. Only problem is, when she sees him the first time, it is anything but daughterly thoughts she has for Geo. So now what is she going to do? Geo is a man who has had to overcome a lot of battles in his life, but when he spots Nicci for the first time, he realizes his life is about to change for the better and he's willing to give up everything to be with her. After a freak accident pushes them together and they realize they both have feelings for each other, will the fact that they aren't related help to bring them together or will Geo's dark past become too big of an issue for Nicci to get past. Then there is Nicci's creepy employer who is making it a challenge for everyone involved.

    I loved this book. Who doesn't love an older man ready to step in and take care of this girl. Definitely a must read!

    I received this book in advance for a voluntary honest review. Another MFD book by Dani Wyatt. Geo is a violent business man with a moral code. When he gets a call telling him he may have a daughter that will need his help due to a rare blood type, he takes the responsibility seriously. He never though the girl he’s been obsessing over would be the one behind the hospital curtain. Nicci cane to Detroit to find the father she never knew, but when she realizes the man whose been helping his elderly neighbor on her bus, the man she has been obsessing over, is also her father. Luckily, it turns out that his blood type makes it impossible to be her father, but he can still take care of all her needs. Sexy and sweet. Good re-read.

    This story starts with a fundamental (and quite taboo) misunderstanding that is resolved quite early on. Geo and Nicci, once they get past the original misunderstanding, are an unlikely but completely lovestruck pair. I loved the explanation for the title of the story and the theme of redemption that characterizes their story. I enjoyed it. I voluntarily reviewed this story.

    This book is about friendship hope ,faith ,love and happiness and just kindness loving your neighbours loving your elders have compassion and teach you how to forgive. That was my take away from the book you may read it and take something different from it but that’s what I take from it.

Throw in some intensely-heated scenes between these two love birds, and you have another great recipe from Ms. Wyatt.
