    This was the 2nd series by this author I listened to via Scribd and it definitely won't be my last. I enjoyed this series and quickly devoured it on audio.

    I enjoyed this fated mates love story. I loved getting to know 2 of the main guys in the beginning and how different they are. Also saw glimpses of the broody mate who will eventually come around I bet hahaha. I thought the set-up was intriguing but didnt stray too far from the shifter/fated mates trope so it was a comfort read if that makes sense. I liked the addition of the goddess's powers, pretty sweet what Kira can do, can't wait to see what's next in store! I also really liked Lux and her personality. Loyal. loving, snarky, fierce. One of the villains revealed himself and I can't wait for karmic justice because he will deserve it after what he has done. He was a good two-faced liar, but he couldnt contain his vileness for long. The creatures the author conjured up were very creepy and scary sounding, great job with their descriptions and the emotions the characters felt when they encountered them.

I thought Heather didnt differentiate enough between the female and male voices so sometimes it was hard to follow and I had to rewind to re-listen. I would give them 4 stars, but the story was enough to keep the audiobook overall 5 stars ❤️

    Okay, so I'm coming to the conclusion that R.L. doesn't care about my feelings. At all.

    Kira is a badass who deserves nothing but rainbows and sunshine (but I doubt she's going to get it). I've adopted both Milo and Seth into my book boyfriend harem. And Jameson will be shunned until he either has an epic "I died for you" moment or several chapters of grove!ing.

    The ONLY reason this received a 4/5 stars is because I felt things for the side characters and it's been proven time and time again that's not good for my mental health.

    I didn’t have any expectations going in and didn’t really know what to expect. But I was pleasantly surprised! This book was amazing and I enjoyed every minute of it.

    I know people probably won’t like how quick Kira was to forgive members of the pack, specifically Jameson, but I found that to be one of my favorite parts. People forget that forgiveness is not for the person you are forgiving, but for yourself. You can’t hold on to that toxicity because it will only bring yourself down, and that’s something that Kira realizes. It was so refreshing to see something that I’ve learned the hard way in real life in a simple book like this.

    I love all the men, yes Jameson included. He’s a real character, I’ve known people like him In real life. So rather than hating him, I want his character to grow and mature. Although Seth and Milo will always be my favorites. Milo’s love is so wholesome and enduring, while Seth’s is protective and supportive.

    The ending was somewhat expected but not in a bad way, more a culmination that you knew was coming and I can’t wait to read the second book to see what happens. This is my second series from this author and I can easily say I’m becoming a fan of her work!

    I hardly ever give five star reviews, only if I really really genuinely loved it and I can say without a doubt, this book deserves it! Will definitely be buying my own copies and devouring the next two books! I definitely recommend reading!

    I liked the premise of the story, had some good tropes and the two out of the 3 guys were what you want out of a mate. They choose her and they choose her every time. Loved that. But when it comes to plot, I wish there was more build up to the story as a whole.

    When the villain was revealed, I saw it from a mile away even though there wasn’t really any reasoning with it or bread crumbs that all clicked with the big reveal. The end really didn’t fit well for me.

    I wish there was more info about the prophecy and the prophetess. It needed to have more of a beginning before the shifters took their first shift.

    It wasn’t a bad read but I also wouldn’t read it again and I don’t know if I will continue to book 2. It is more of a 2.5 star review for me.

    I only discovered this Author yesterday and I’m so glad I did. This book was absolutely amazing and I couldn’t put it down. The minute I finish this review I’m going to start reading book 2.
    The lead female character is downtrodden initially but soon develops into a strong and courageous woman. I loved the storyline and the redemption arc for another character.
    Buy or borrow this book asap, you won’t regret it.

    I’ve loved all of Caulder’s books so far and Outlaw did not disappoint. This is a series I’d be happy for my sisters to read as it continues to have a strong female lead and clearly demonstrates healthy relationships and communication between partners. (Don’t worry, she doesn’t forget the spice in this book.)
    One of my biggest pet peeves with writers is when the characters do something unnatural and it pulls me from the story. Caulder makes me cry with joy when I finish her books because she keeps her characters real and I catch myself nodding with Kira’s inner dialogue and impressive ability to compromise with her mates.
    I’m chomping at the bit for book three to see what happens with Kira, her mates, and the shifter community!
