Multi award-winning author Sarah Mallory brings her dazzling Arrandale family quartet to a stunning conclusion with The Outcast’s Redemption, a mesmerizing tale of redemption, healing and dangerous secrets that will hold readers spellbound.

It was the scandal that had rocked society ten years ago: Wolfgang Arrandale had been found standing over the body of his dead wife! With blood on his hands and a price hanging over his head, Wolfgang had had no choice but to leave everything he knows and loves behind and hide out in France. Wolfgang has spent the last ten years lying low and constantly looking over his shoulder, but when news reaches him that he has a daughter, he is determined to reclaim his life and to clear his name, so he goes back home to England and to the village of Arrandale where he hopes to uncover the secrets of what really happened that fateful night. But little does Wolfgang realise that his dangerous mission is going to propel him straight into the path of parson’s daughter Grace Duncombe, who is immediately intrigued by the wild stranger who turned up on her father’s doorstep seeking shelter.

Grace Duncombe cannot help but be suspicious of the man who is now living in her house. Despite her father’s assurances, Grace can tell that the man living under her father’s roof is not all that he seems. Determined to uncover the secrets he is hiding and to ensure that her father has not invited danger into their home, Grace finds herself growing closer and closer to him. However, suspicion and curiosity quickly give way to an attraction that simply cannot be denied. Succumbing to temptation proves inevitable, but with so much stacked against them, does Grace and Wolfgang’s love stand a chance of triumphing against all the obstacles standing in their way?

When Wolfgang had returned to England, the last thing he had expected was to fall head over heels in love. Grace had awakened feeling deep within him which he had thought long-buried, but after all the heartache and anguish he had been through, is he ready to put his heart on the line again? Or will he let this second chance at happiness slip through his fingers?

Sarah Mallory’s name is synonymous with high quality historical romantic fiction and in The Outcast’s Redemption she has outdone herself once again with a spellbinding tale of second chances, renewal, learning to trust again and the power of love that I found absolutely impossible to put down. Deftly intertwining danger, desire, intrigue and adventure into a compelling historical romance that I didn’t want to end, in The Outcast’s Redemption, Sarah Mallory once again cements her standing as one of the genre’s finest and most talented writers.

I absolutely adored Grace who, despite her sheltered life, was a strong, resourceful and resilient heroine readers cannot help but cheer for and damaged and flawed Wolfgang was a wonderful multi-faceted hero who is more than a match for Mr Darcy and Ross Poldark!

Vivid, spellbinding and absolutely impossible to resist, The Outcast’s Redemption is another triumph for the fantastic Sarah Mallory!

This is my least favourite book in the Arrandale series, mainly because I found the heroine quite unlikeable. I also found it strange that he hero stayed out of the country for so long and had no knowledge he had a daughter. Anyway it is as well written as ever as you would expect from Sarah Mallory, but I didn't feel the connection nor particulary liked the plot.

I unfortunately started off with this book first but as mentioned in all the other reviews on this collection on the Arrandales family; it's a great collection, worth keeping and reading again at a later date.
