Over You: A Rockstar Romance Kindle Edition
I fell for the boy who wore second-hand clothes and wrote love notes to me on gum wrappers. But that boy was destroyed when he became Spencer Hailstorm, the lead singer of the multiplatinum rock band, Midnite Kills.
Devoured. Digested. And spat out in designer clothing.
Fame was a four-letter word that slowly killed every part of me, every part of him. Each last piece of us. We may have parted ways, but I never got over him. And right now, he’s at my front door saying he never got over me. . .

You will be sucked into the world of Spencer and Georgia Anne from the very start of the book. This rock star romance takes a part of your heart and soul when it comes to how Spencer and Georgia Anne go through their passes when it comes to addiction and trying to survive heartache, love and marriage. You feel for both Spencer and Georgia Anne as you read. You see where both are coming from. You see a strong love that wont let go. I love Over You so much. Stevie J Cole just did a phenomenal job with the feels. THIS IS A GO ONE CLICKY NOW!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2019It took me a while to get into this. I saw second chance and rockstar and had to read it.
I did really like it but it was so short. It didn’t go through the daily stuff but got right into the need to know important things which I liked but before I knew it 3 years has past and “the end” came up .. good story and well written.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2019‘Over you’ is the first book that I read from Stevie J. Cole. I love reading rock star books and second chance romance stories and when I read in a review that there was also no cheating involved, I was immediately intrigued by the story so I had to read it.
‘Over you’ is a story about a young married couple Spencer and Georgia. Spencer’s lifelong dream has come true. He and his music band are famous and wanted by everyone. But sadly, the dream also has a dark side, Spencer has develop a drug addiction. And although Georgia loves her husband very much, she has come to a point in her life where she can’t take it anymore. It hurts too much to lose Spencer more and more to the drugs. So Georgia makes the hard decision to leave him. Spencer doesn’t want to lose her but fighting an addiction is hard. Can they find each other again or has Spencer’s addiction destroyed everything between them??
For me this story felt a bit different than other rock star stories that I have read and I found it in a way refreshing. Because this is a story about a couple that love each other very much but are fighting a battle against an addiction and that is very hard. It’s a fight that never ends, that you have to fight every day again and again. I really felt for Spencer and Georgia, you really felt their love and their heartbreak and I loved the fact that Spencer stayed faithful to Georgia the whole time.
The story is told from both POV’s and for me the story felt like a ‘light’ but emotional story.
I would have loved some more interaction between the couple, to see a bit more how everything was between them before Spencer’s addiction (but that’s my personal view). I was very happy with how the story ended. Realistic but hopeful.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2019Omg!!!! Where do i even start..... i have NEVER left a review for a book, but this book is unbelievably amazing!! This man and driven have always been what i judged other books by. This book is right there with them same level. Their heartfelt story sucks you in from the very first word and you cannot put it down. It’s like you are there with them going through every emotion they are. You fought with them you cried with them and you were happy with them. It sucks you into their world. Omg. One of the absolute best stories ever!! Sit down and read this story NOW!!!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 16, 2019I want more stars!!! I could not wait to read this book and kinda stalked the writer until it came out. Why because her other books were just so,unforgetable. What touched me the most? I could not get over the love they had for each other.Spoiler! The hero,so flawed, riddled with addiction but never once, strayed from his love for his wife. Screwed up on every drug/alcohol combo, band mates constantly trying to get him to let go of his dream. Never once was he unfaithful. Who does that? Stewart Hailstorm did!! The only complaint? I wanted to know what happened to the rest of group,Lottie. Not enough to subtract a star tho',lol.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2021This was a very gripping story from the very beginning. I very much loved their love story. Spencer and Georgia's story is definitely worth the read.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 9, 2019Since was her world her love and lifeline. Things happen in this life, boulders get thrown at us and we loose focus of our ultimate goal. Looking a baby, with the wrong crowd and the list goes on and on. Spence morphed into someone that Georgia couldn't accept anymore. She loved him like she did the first time all those years ago but things had to change. Drugs and his music took him in the wrong road and she had to jump off that wagon before things ended badly. Pack up and leave her hardest decision, survival 101 I'll do better never comes. She packs what she cans and leaves. Spence is heart broken and someone left him again. But he won't give up on them but doesn't try either. He reaches out to her but she doesn't budge. Get sober. Time passes but the love is still there stronger than ever. An argument had Spence leaving his link and he finds himself in her town. And the rest is just amazing. True love will win!

I do not think I knew what I was getting into when I started this book. It was a quick second chance romance done differently.
Spencer and Georgia have been together since high school and before the fame. They love each other and have been each other’s strengths through their difficult childhoods. Spencer hits it big and becomes a famous rockstar. The fame becomes too much and their relationship comes to a breaking point.
I thought that the book could have been longer. I wished the story was developed more of the early relationship, less of Spencer’s horrible decisions, and more of the development of the clean relationship. There was great potential if the story was better developed I felt it was short and parts were skimmed over.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it
I loved this story. It felt so real and full of raw emotion. What Spencer endures is laid bare. It is hard to watch his life unravel. His one saving grace is his love for Georgia.
Georgia is an amazing character. She's strong and willing to fight for what matters. Her relationship with Spencer is as heartbreaking as it is beautiful.
Stevie J. Cole knows how to write gut wrenching stories, and this is definitely one of those.

4.0 out of 5 stars Over You
I enjoyed this rocknroll story and glad that it had an HEA because I had my doubts as the story was unfolding. I was pleased and amused that Stevie included some British slang words due to Georgia Anne's Brit friends Lottie and Tom.
