When I’m not trying to keep my boys in line, or writing about hot sexy men, I like to work on my allotment. I also like to read, to take walks in the countryside, and visit historical places. Recently, we went to Stonehenge and Avebury. It was an amazing experience.

    I am glad to have read the book and see it wasn’t a filler and fit in nicely with the series! I also loved the tidbits of what the vampires were up to.

    Character breakdown:

    Tank; I understood he’s need not to tick his family off but the fact that he did NOT see the toxicity of his family was mind blowing. I do not care how much your family loves you and vice versa if they do not let you live your life peacefully or the way you want? Cut. Them. Off!

    Niles; I felt for him having met his mate and having to wait until he came to terms with it and the fact that Tank was straight kinda had a kink in the relationship. I understood what Niles wanted Tank to do but the times he asked him to do it…. Not appropriate, he came off as a bit of brat during those times.

    Favorite quote: “Are we staying in bed tomorrow?” Tank grinned. “That’s my plan.” Niles sat next to him and grinned back at him. “My favorite thing to do.”

    I cannot wait for the next book, this series has my undivided attention now and I cannot wait to see it through!!!

    I’m enjoying this series. I’ve read all six books over the last week and I think they work best as a whole. I like the individual stories, but they are fairly short and the potential vampire take over storyline that has been in the background of the last few books is one of the most interesting parts of the story. In this book Tank’s family was ridiculous and I don’t know why he cared if they disowned him — I understand not wanting to lose your family if you come from a kind, loving family, but his parents obviously didn’t really care about him; they just wanted to control him. I was glad that Niles stood up to him and refused to be treated like a dirty secret. Luckily Tank made the right choice in the long run and they got their HEA. I look forward to the next book.

    I spent the entirety of this book, waiting for one half of this mating to grow a pair.
    Unbreakable, unconditional love...or despicable, bigoted parents (that you don’t even like that much and who certainly don’t like it respect you) who won’t hesitate to cut you off if you don’t toe the line. Such a hard decision. *insert rolling eyes*
    He didn’t deserve his mate and, tbh, I’m kinda pissed that he was forgiven so easily.

    I really like the story line and the main characters Nials and Tank but the grammatical mistakes did take away from the flow of the story.I look forward to the next book and maybe the resolution to vampire backstory and the devious intentions of said vampires.
