- Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2020Pari (9, sister) & Kayal (5, sister) were trying on their new camping clothes.
Dada watched as hey put their picnic baskets & sleeping bags in the car.
Pari had her books & Kayal had her doll.
It was a long 4-hours’ drive to the campground.
The mountains & the clear lake took Pari & Kayal’s breath away.
The gear was unloaded & the tent was pitched.
The sisters asked their parents if they could go & explore.
They came upon a nightingale.
And then a monkey. There was a whole tree full of them.
Out of nowhere, Sid (chipmunk) appeared.
I do not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing free books from publishers & authors. Therefore, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one.
A very awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures & proper font & writing style. A very well written children’s (elementary) educational storybook. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational movie, a classroom presentation, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2020My daughters and I enjoyed reading this very imaginative story. The story starts off with two sisters getting packed to go camping. When they arrive at the campground, they ask their parents if they can go exploring in the woods. While in the woods, they meet some very interesting characters!
Packed with adventure, friendship, and showing kindness to others, this story is sure to entertain kids. They will definitely like Sid and may even want a "Sid" of their own. That was one part that confused my daughters because the parents seemed to be totally okay with the fact that Sid would be going home with the family. I guess that is every kid's dream come true, so kids will surely relate.
The pictures were very cute and went along well with the story. Aside from a few punctuation and grammar errors, this story is a great start for a beginning author!
My daughters and I would recommend this story to kids around ages 5-10. We recommend that parents read this story along with their kids since the characters want to bring an animal from the woods home.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 3, 2020I can’t wait for the next book! These sisters have become my new favorite characters and I can’t wait to read about all the adventures they’ll go on. This book was extremely well written. I was shocked to read that the author is only 10 years old. Fun, clever, and charming. Kids will be sure to love this book!

- Reviewed in the United States on April 3, 2020What a beautiful story written a young but talented writer!
It shows us how to be friendly and kind to each other.
I love the illustrations! They are adorable!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 7, 2020This felt like the first chapter of a longer book. I would have liked to see a more complete story in one. I also think it could be edited tighter. But since it is written by a child, I guess that's understandable.
Top marks for effort!

5.0 out of 5 stars A fun little adventure with two sisters and a peppy chipmunk
Knowing how young the author is makes me look forward to more stories in the future! I'm excited to see this author grow. The illustrations are very soft and easy to follow, I'd love to see even more in the next story. Kudos to the author (and those who helped her!)!

5.0 out of 5 stars Stranger can be befriended
The book is an eye opener not only for young kids, but also for grownups. The way, the young author perceives the stranger and moves with caution at the same time for Pari to elegantly befriend, brings out her maturity at this age. How Pari handles her sister is also beautiful.
The author, in my opinion is sure to reach great heights in future.
I recommend this book for young kids who are aspiring to be child authors.
Best wishes to Maya.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet story!
Lovely children’s story book written by a young and talented author. Not only does this book tell a story, it also provides insights into the special relationship and bond between the two sisters who are the main characters of the story. The adventure takes place in the woods where the sisters, Pari and Kayal, are joined by their new friend Sid.

What I loved about this book is how it sticks to what a book is supposed to .. describe the characters , their emotions, the situation so well that it creates a movie in your mind!
A perfect read for 6-12 year olds I would say..
Cannot believe the author is only 10 years old!
Waiting for the next in this series!
