- Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2024Such an amazing follow-up to book 1, heart wrenching decisions make this an emotional roller coaster! I loved every single page as the journey Lex and company continues but you’ll need a tissue towards the end of book 2! Can’t wait to start book 3!
If you are looking for a clean, magical one of a kind story, this is IT!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2024I enjoyed Path to Paradox by Crystal Crawford. I enjoyed the series. I received free review copy and am voluntarily reviewing.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2019Thank goodness the second book picks up immediately after the ending of the first. Otherwise, I might have lost my mind. Crawford's epic cliffhanger moves on into book two as the world of Arameth grows. This book, unlike many middle books in a trilogy, was not just "stuffing." Instead, it amped up the action and did a wonderful job of setting up for book three. I recommend this series for anyone who loves to get lost in well-crafted worlds and alternate realities!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 6, 2023Parents: pretty bloody but would be appropriate for 13/14+
Language: none
Violence: PG-13
Sexual content: PG, girlfriends and kissing
These need to be read in order and if you got through the first book this one is better. It has an easier to follow plot and continues with plenty of action, twists and new characters to keep interest and the reader invested and wanting more.
I continue to enjoy the clean lack of sexual content and language (not common for the genre).
Narrator: no drastic differentiations to speak of, pleasant tone of voice. Yelling needs to be leveled out so your ears don’t bleed.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2022I liked book 2 even better than book 1 as it flowed more linearly. The story was good. The characters changed and grew. New characters were added. There were many new twists and the intensity of the action increased. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. Brad Gilliam's narration was great and added to the enjoyment of the story. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2022Crystal Crawford continues to write an engaging story in the Lex Chronicles series with The Path to Paradox. The story picks up right where book 1 ends. We are thrust right into action and the plot moves at an excellent pace. We watch as the characters develop along with the world around them. I look forward to the book 3 in the series. Audio Version: Brad Gilliam continues to do a great job with the story, characters, and overall narration.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 14, 2019This picks up right at the end of book 1 and it is a wild ride! You can't stop for breath or even sleep with this one. The poor characters never catch a break either, but the success of this whole story is the author's ability to make you feel what the characters are going through. It's beautiful and wondrous and these are the best things an author can give to readers.
