    Patriot is the third book in the Dark Falcons series that could be read as a stand alone. Patriot is in trouble with his business, which is now spilling over into his MC. Taking a weekend off to clear his head, he meets Aarica, and there’s an instant connection. When she start popping up all over the place, he can’t help but want her in his life, but will his trouble land him in jail, or worse?

    This was a great addition to the series! I loved the connection that develops between Patriot and Aarica, how he tended to push her away, but she was too stubborn to let go of something special. There’s a lot of build up tension between the two of them, but there’s some really soft moments and I loved their time spent together. Patriot knows loyalty, the realities of life, and thinks he’s too messed up when it comes to pursuing a relationship with Aarica. But I loved that his hot and cold demeanor never turned her away for good. Aarica is sweet and a fighter, kind and yet stubborn, and I thought she was so good for Patriot. They had some demons to fight, but they made a great team. I loved that Ms. Petrova added in elements of autism to this book, and loved seeing how the MC rallied around their own members. I enjoyed reading this book and am already looking forward to the next book in the series, thanks to a quick preview during the epilogue!

    I liked Patriot. He was everything I want in a hero of the story. While he is a little gruff and alpha, he is sweet and caring at his core. He is having a hard time of things, his name and company are being put through the wringer, and then meeting someone who piques your interest he can't help but feel this is bad timing.

    Aarica is a great character. She is kind, happy, and cares deeply for others. I loved that even though she came from a tight family, she wants to spread her wings and find her own path. Luckily for her, her path keeps throwing her towards Patriot.

    I loved that even though things looked grim for Patriot, Aarica always trusted him. She knew right from the beginning that he was a standup guy even if others were starting to question.

    I also liked that the club stood behind him. There wasn't one person who thought he did what was being accused.

    This is the 3rd book in this series, but you do not have to have read the first two before thoroughly enjoying this one, but after reading it, you probably will want to go back and read them, just because you will enjoy this one so much. Patriot, who is a member of the MC club, Dark Falcons, that does good things for the community, is a big, rough, biker, that is also sweet, kind, honest, and loyal. Aarica, is a young, sweet, innocent, straight off the farm, woman, that is also, feisty, strong,and loyal. I like when the heroine is a strong female. The sparks fly when they meet, and their chemistry explodes, but there is a story left to unfold, one that will keep you reading, and make it hard to put down. I love this series, and this book. With that, I highly recommend both.

    This can be read as a standalone from the series. The other stories would give background to some of the other characters. This is Patriot's story with this club and how a friend was starting trouble and how he meets his love.

    I read them all and enjoyed each one. I think Patriot and Aarica was excellent, but my favorite was Dixon and Fiona. You can’t go wrong reading these exciting romantic stories. The sex is exciting but when that’s all there is, it becomes an oh no not again. There needs to be a story to ensconce the heightened feelings to make it stand out.

They are instantly attracted but he feels she is to young and innocent for him. A very captivating adventure.
