Perfect Chaos took us by surprise. That was the push needed to finish it in one sitting. The story is well written, but, let's be honest, what else can you expect from Jodi? Perfection of style, banther, sass, a conflicted heroine, a hot as sin alpha male. Both caracthers were burned badly in their previous relationships and avoid it at all costs. Being told from Ty's point of view, it gave us a new perspective of this love story. Jodi proves her self a great connoisseur of male psychology, and ego too. Congrats for another great achievement, JEM!

    This is the story of Ty (Tyler) & Lainey. Ty started an advertising agency with his partner, Sal. Lainey is hired by Sal to be his PA. Ty is really attracted to her, and it's against rules to have anything sexual going on with employees. This is a real stunner of a story. I just love Ty. Although he is a playboy, he is vulnerable when it comes to Lainey. He doesn't want to see anyone else but her. She is a total mystery, not only to Ty, but also to the reader. Yes, she's been hurt, but the way she acts, it's almost like she has multiple personalities; vulnerable, to professional, seeing other guys, she can switch in an instant. It drives Ty crazy. Then you find out how deeply rooted her issues and fears are. Ty slowly gets her to let her guard down. It's the way Jodi writes her stories that is so intriguing. They pull you in every time. She just has that knack. Ty's thoughts are funny at times. I found myself laughing out loud a few times. The name of the book suits the story to a tee. I also like that it's from Ty's POV. I love the man's view of things.

    Well, Jodie did it again, she made me fall in love with the most amazing character!! I have no idea how her mind works, but I know for sure that she's one the best to give such different epic alpha male characters ever, with so much personality, so much emotions that you just fall in love in the first chapter…I just loved it!!!! Ty always get what he wants, he doesn't do romance and he knows that after his ex-wife, there's no way he'll fall in love again; but when his partner hires a new PA without telling him, he's beyond pissed about it and not only because the rule they both have regarding any hire for their company is that if anyone is getting in the company, they both have to agree; but when he meets the new PA he can't stop thinking about her, there's something that pulls and he has no idea what that is…but he knows that he can't have her.

    Lainey has a terrible past; a past that changed her and the way she feels about men, she doesn't trust, and she doesn't do all the romance thing…after all, that's the safe bet. Until she meets Ty, her boss's partner, and all her secrets are about to be exposed and change her future in a way that there is no going back.

    This is a different one, and not only because of the characters and their story, if you think that you've read this story over and over, well you couldn't be more wrong; Perfect Chaos is written from his perspective, and it's so much hotter than you would imagine, so waste no more time and start falling with this beautiful story about love, forgiveness and trust.

    This story was a wonderful surprise release, to JEM fandom.
    The title is Perfect to the chaos that unfolds in this story. The alpha male, Ty is different from all the other alpha males in Jodi’s stories. This one knows what a perfect marriage is, he grew up watching his parents. But when he isn’t that perfect relationship, he becomes a self centered, womanizer perk with no end in site until he lays eyes on Lainey Summer. A woman who knows what she wants and is happy doing it. Or does she really?
    As this story unfolds, you can’t help but fall in love with Ty and Lainey. There are twists and turns and some what the... moments. Drawing you into the chaos that is a perfect fit. Who won’t love a man that talk to his mum everyday and has his own advertising company with his best friend Sal from college. And then there’s the beautiful mystery woman Lainey. She keeps to herself, works hard and she with a different man every night and isn’t ashamed of it.
    This story has chaos that keeps you turning page after page, laughing and making your heart ping.

    I loved Ty. He was so gregarious, happy, like the world is at his feet and walking on cloud nine. Not broody like most of JEM’s men (although I love them too), more relatable. He falls hard and fast for Lainey, who we know absolutely nothing about for the first 2/3rds of the book. I couldn’t really see what he saw in her except a pull between them. She constantly lies to him, goes back and forth wanting him and not wanting him. I never really trusted her the entire book, and kinda hoped he’d just tell her to bugger off and move on.
    I never thought I’d rate a book by Jodi less than 4 or 5 stars, but I have to with this one.

I rarely give out 5 stars, but it seems to happen a lot with Jodi's books. I absolutely loved that this book is in the MMC POV!!! I don't know what to say other than this book was incredible. MMC falls first is always lovely. I really am at a loss for words for fellow readers besides definitely putting this on your list!!!!! Keep them coming, Jodi!!!!

    I love that JEM surprised us readers with Perfect Chaos.

    What really surprised me was how much I loved Ty. His arrogance and womanizing should have turned me off but it ended up making him all the more endearing to me once I saw into his past. Everyone needs a love that is all consuming, whether they realize they need it or not. And then came Lainey. So many reasons why they shouldn’t get involved, but the heart wants what the heart wants, and who are we to stand in their way? JEM does what she does best...creates harmony, passion, and love from chaos. Brilliant ❤️

    This is my very first book from Jodi Ellen Malpas and definitely not my last. I chose this book due to my favourite British narrator Shane East. Who can resist 15 hours and 28 minutes of solo Shane in their ears! Ms. Malpas beautiful writing and Mr. East narration was the perfect combination.

    With any books that Mr. East narrates, you will get a total performance, he has this in depth understanding of every single characters that the authors wanted to convey and he performs them to a tee. This book is no exception, I’m very impressed with Ms. Malpas clever writing, she wrote a very complex characters especially with Tyler Christianson and to read/listen to the whole book in a man’s point of view was fascinating. It actually worked because along with Ty I was riveted as a reader/listener and I was desperate to find out Lainey Summer's secrets which Ms. Malpas kept me guessing up to the very end. I suggest having tissues on the ready for the final chapter, Mr. East deserves an award for his outstanding narration for that chapter alone and Ms. Malpas knows exactly how to tug at my heartstrings. This struck a chord with me personally. One of my best read/listen this year.
