So, I’m going to preface this by saying this is my first book my T.M (runs and hides). I know, I know, where have I been right, and I can categorically say I have no freaking idea. T.M just came through and bashed me over the head with her writing, there’s no going back at this point, I’m officially an addict!

Since this is my first trip to Logan’s beach, I’m just going to throw this out there, if all the men there are like Pike than sign me the F up. From the very first page of this book I was completely enthralled with this man. He is Alpha dangerous with a deliciously decadent side of sexy and I am here for it all. Pike is best friends with Nine, they’ve known each other for years and I loved watching their dynamic, I may not know anything other than Pike at this point, but you can feel the camaraderie between them and the unwavering loyalty. Pike is this amalgam of so many different things, he is layered with such complexity and executed with such precision, that you fall for every aspect of him. And the duality of what he knows he needs to do and what he ultimately wants to do regarding Mickey shows his inner battle and opens your eyes to another part of this man.

Mickey is unlike any character that I’ve read, this woman is wicked smart, when she first meet’s Pike she’s young and hurt just trying to figure out what’s going on. But when they come together later, she is an entirely different woman. She is strong and determine and single minded to the point of detriment to herself. She has goals in place that she won’t let anyone detract from not even Pike. But the connection between them is strong and it’s instantaneous. You can feel them both trying to fight what it is every step of the way. But the tension is fierce and tangible, you can feel it bleed from the pages like a bullet wound covering you in the intensity of it. And when that tension finally erupts its pure melt your freaking Kindle HOT!!!

T.M has interlaced this tension filled story with hilarious bouts of much needed humor. With this one-story she has created a lifelong fanatic of her work and I can’t wait to go back and read all the stories I’ve missed out on. Her words will wrap themselves around your heart and squeeze slowly and meticulously as you go through the pages, just waiting to see where her brilliant mind will take you next, leaving you fully on the edge of your seat. Pike and Mickey are absolute perfection together and the dynamics of them individually interlace brilliantly with them together making for a captivating story-line.

Dangerous and emotional ride
Every time I return into the Logan's Beach and those rebellious biker's world, I feel freaking excited, because King series was my very first MC story I've read at all. T.M Frazier still can surprise me by creating new complex characters and has ability to twists the story and suck me in from the very beginning. Pike - book one from The Pawn Duet is a dark romance about revenge, fight and unexpected, twisted love, but it's more even complicated that you could ever imagine. All the secrets kept me hooked to the story and didn't allowed me to put it down, mesmerized and captivated by the plot. If you know Frazier's book already, you aware that there is no place for hearts and flowers in her story and love won't come easy. Mickey and Pike met for the first time in unexpected circumstances. He was her first unforgettable kiss but then became her worst nightmare. Two of them fully devoted to their own matter, each one won't give up what makes me seat all the time on emotional edge and biting nervously my nails. There were many reasons why they're not suppose to be together, but their growing chemistry was too strong to resist. Together they're like thunder and lightning at the same time causing huge storm around each other with their lust and desire. They've fueled one another with se*ual tension and than they got lost into each other so easily. Pike book brought on so many emotions at once. It was real MC story, full of unpredictable incidents and action, guns and gang war. There are lots of surprising and terrifying moments in the book that you wont get bored with. Author left me with unexpected cliffhanger which totally blew my mind away. I was craving those emotions and now waiting impatiently for more.
