Millie’s getting quite the crime-solving reputation and surprisingly was allowed to go about her business as long as she kept things on the downlow. I love that she’s got two good friends now to sleuth with, and even her boss Andy who tries to talk her out of things probably has to admit she’s got some good ideas especially when it’s something the three of them (Millie, Cat and Annette) cooked up.

I loved the sweet story of how Millie and the little dog she’s taking care of for the captain played a big part in helping a little traumatized girl start talking again. It’s those moments that make Millie super happy she took this job.

I had the perp right when I guessed but had it a little more convoluted in my brain than it really was, lol. Either way, Millie was two for two now and after having been gifted a taser previously by her boss, he stated it was time to learn how to use it. (Aww wouldn’t that be fun? The three of them with tasers and they could call themselves Andy’s Angels) 😉 I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book of this very addictive series—and I mean that in the best possible way!

I love this series. In this one, millions and company try to find out who killed two people on the cruise. It was a twist I never expected. The only issue (and I use this term lightly) that I had with this book is that it switched to a couple other POVs rather unexpectedly. It was just kind of a distraction.

I just finished reading book 2 in this series. I highly recommend this one as well as the first book in the cruise ship mystery series. It was so hard to put down. Lots of twists and turns and I enjoyed the romantic twist with Millie and the captain. And of course the new addition, Scout.
Hope Callaghan has put out another great book. I have actually read all her books and I can honestly say they have all been just wonderful to read.
Her characters are always interesting and enjoyable. So refreshing to read these books. Great, fun, light-hearted mysteries that you hate to put down. I can't wait to read the next one she comes up with.
Just don't make us wait too long.
Thanks hope for all the enjoyment you have given me. I am so glad I found your books.

I enjoyed both book 1 and book 2. I liked that the detective was a little older lady that I could identify with. I found the description of the cruise very accurate and could picture myself in the various places aboard the ship. There was mystery, excitement, friendship and fun throughout the book. Hope Callaghan presented characters that were real and likeable. I was never 100% sure of who the murderer was but it all made sense in the end. I would recommend this book to seniors who enjoy a lighthearted mystery.

They're fun and light-hearted even though they're murder mysteries. The story is probably the right length, but I'm always slightly disappointed it's over.

Millie is aboard again and soon gets into detective mode. Man over board sets Millie's senses free to wonder what had happened. Millie is a strong character with a stubbornness that drives her to fight any wrongs. I liked finding more about the staff and their backgrounds. I cannot wait to read more about all of them, and especially Scout.
