Princess Witch: A Paranormal Romantic Comedy (The Reigh Witch Chronicles Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 25 ratings

My powers are amped, two men are making me question everything and I have a killer to catch. That’s just the tip of the iceberg.

What I want: Normalcy; to go to college and leave this alternate realm in my rearview mirror.

What I get: Acting Queen duties and a giant mess.

Mom’s pregnant and, with some unforeseen complications, she hands the reigns of her land over to me. It’s got to be easy, right? Do what my mother needs done for the sake of the kingdom, wait for her to deliver the baby, and then I’m off to college.

Wrong, so very wrong. A murdered body left by a cold-blooded killer throws an uber wrench in my plans.

Now, I have extra security in the form of a hot, brooding shifter named Phoenix Winston, plus a super sexy alien human hybrid - the one and only Declan Moore.

I’ll either figure out what I’m doing or accidentally burn it all to the ground. Either way, my life just became interesting.

Billie Dale lives in no-where middle earth. Lost in a small village in the Midwest with four kids, three animals and an amazing, word inspiring-book boyfriend, worthy husband.

A blogger by nature and a writer because she got tired of arguing with the voices in her head. She loves and lives the words on the page, whether writing them or reading them; her life is consumed by the worlds her head creates.

Her greatest wish is for readers to fall in love with her words as much as she loves writing them. She loves to create new worlds to explore and writing words that will take root in your soul.

Paranormal, New Adult, Romantic Comedy, Contemporary — there is not one box she fits in. She’s a rebel in the author world who writes what her head tells her even it jumps from genre to genre.

I prefer Shay, Bry is a bit too much teen angst but she matured so I am happy. I kept thinking maybe this is an RH is sux how things played out but it was a good ending. Can’t wait for the time jump for Kasey’s book ... there MUST be a time jump cuz otherwise ewww

Breyanna is your typical self centred 19 year old. Some complications arise and she is forced to take over as ‘interim’ Queen which is the last thing she wants. This forces her to put her college plans on hold and she is less than thrilled to say the least. I have to say at first I didn’t like her character but she grew on me as the story progressed. She matured and became a very likable character. I liked her and Declan together but I have a soft spot for Phoenix then again I do have a thing for bad boys. I’m curious to see how things will unfold when it comes to all parties.
Billie Dale is a new to me author and I love Paranormal stories so I was excited to read. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this story. I did have a slight issue with the flow of the in the beginning but as I continued things got better. This is a standalone but I think I would have better understanding if I read “Birthday Witch” prior to reading this story. This book had a very nice combination of romance, paranormal and comedy. I found myself laughing out loud several times as I read this story and that isn’t always an easy thing for me to do while reading romantic comedies. I found myself enjoying the secondary characters as well. I can’t wait for the next book in the series to see how everything unfolds. In the meantime I will read “Birthday Witch” so I can get a fuller feel for the series.

Three words made me want to read this book: Paranormal Romantic Comedy. Yes, please!

Bryenna is a scream – I loved her snarky sass-laden attitude. Her inner monologue had me in stitches. In fact, I don’t think there was one character I didn’t like, *whispers* even the bad guy. Whaaaa? *shrugs* puhlease, like you expect any less from me *smirks*

Bry’s life has done a complete one-eighty in the last year. Obsessing over the latest must-haves, and make-up are a thing of the past. Finding out you’re actually magical royalty with your very own powers to boot is bound to make your head spin.

Add in your pregnant mother (the Queen) resulting in Queenie duties for said Princess, your eleven-year-old sister having it more together than you, a whodunnit you need to solve, and sexy double trouble in the shape of one alien-hybrid, and your shifter protector. What’s a gal to do? Whew! I’d know what I’d do *winks* (I’m nearly 40, not dead, lol.)

With her plans to escape the realm, and enrol in college back on Earth up in the air, Bry has to confront some hard truths, and question where her heart lies.

Honestly, this was a hoot of a tale with the perfect mix of drama, peril, romance, and laughs. I look forward to reading more by this author. In fact, I’m off to download Bry’s mom’s book right now. TTYL...

This is the 2nd book in the series but the 1st read for me, I enjoyed the romantic suspense with Bryenna and Declan who have been secretly making out for the past months and he seems to be crazy about her but she is determined to go to college on Earth only she is in a alter universe where her Mom is the Queen and her and her sister have been living on Erigate since she graduated high school and found out they were witch's. Now there is a serious issue with her father who still llives On Earth. She and her sister are.given some heartbreaking Information about their father and the situation Is so serious that they are required to have body guards. Bryenna is upset and cannot seem to cope with her new duties her mother and stepfather have put on her everything becomes to much she runs away with Declan to look for clues to the mystery she is trying desperately to solve. Good book, I would have enjoyed it more if I had read book 1 first but is not required. I was given a copy as a gift from author. I am providing an honest review without obligation.

Another fantastic story by Billie Dale. Although at first I had a harder time connecting with Bry by the end I adore her. She grows so much throughout this story. We get to see some new characters as well as old ones. I loved the humor at times and the mystery, suspense, drama and of course hot romance very much. It is extremely well written and the characters are beautifully developed. Yes it is best to read book one because not only does it help with understanding this one it makes it so much more enjoyable. Billie Dale's book are like an aphrodisiac to your soul. They warm you and make you feel so good. It is definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint.

I stumbled across this author on FB never heard of her before. I feel in love with this cover and knew I had to read it as I love all books witchy. Once I started this book, man I couldn't put it down. I just loved all the supernatural aspects of the book. I loved how Bryenna grows up throughout the book, going from a whiny, selfish person to one who can handle responsibility for anything that comes her way.

Will definitely be going back to read the first book and can't wait to see what else happens in future books with Nix.
