Justice Volkov is the youngest Alpha Zenith to ever lead the wolf shifters. Following in his father’s large paw prints was a responsibility he met head on. His wolf howled long and hard but Justice kept it inside. It felt like a bass drum beating against his rib cage. The harsh breaths, angry snarls and the determined pacing inside him was overtaking him.

Justice takes his role of leadership and his legacy very seriously. He has little time for romance, not to mention a true mate. His packs are his priority. With a human government trying to regulate them, an uprising of rogue shifters, and a violent team of scientists trying to experiment on them, Justice has his hands way too full.

Chadwick ‘Wick’ Bentley is not enthusiastic when the captain of his escort tells him he has to leave his comfortable London home and go back to the States. As the Vampire King, he has no choice but to get his species back in line before they cause anymore chaos. At over one-hundred years old, Wick is no one to trifle with, but his smooth, charismatic manner makes him quite unique, despite the negative reputation vampires have.

Wick has had nothing but time up to this point. He doesn’t feel the need to make issues pressing. Nothing is urgent in his life. Until he meets Justice. His beloved.

“Natural enemies can’t be mates.” Or so Justice thought.

Justice knows his skepticism and rejection is hurting his mate, so while he fights their connection, Wick gets help from a source very close to Justice to help him win his beloved’s heart.

Wick is a force all on his own, but when he’s blessed with a special gift from the Mother herself, not even Justice’s powerful wolf can prevent the prophesy from being fulfilled.

    Leave it to A.E. Via to convert me to a shifters fan! This was my first time ever reading a full book about shifters and it was amazing!! The style and the way A.E. Via writes is just so amazing, I can't help but be sucked into her stories and the worlds she creates in them. Plus let's all be real here, she's a damn fantastic writer and you're a fool if you're not a fan of her work. I have LOVED everything she releases, and this one is no exception. This book seriously just sucked me in from beginning to end that I finished it in one sitting!

    In this book we get to know Wick, the vampire king, and Justice, the alpha of all wolf packs. Their species are meant to be enemies yet when they meet face to face they have a fierce realize they are each other's true mate. I love how their emotions are 10x more intense than that of humans, and A.E does an amazing job of describing the intensity of their emotions, their senses, their pull towards each other, their need for each other, and their strong protectiveness towards each other. Although this book focuses on Justice and Wick, she also introduces many secondary characters and what the major story line is, which I assume will continue on in her future books. To be honest my favorite books are the ones that have an overall story line that continues with each book and individual ones within each book. I can't wait to read about Alek and Belleron next and how the new threat to their species will be handled.

    If you have not already, you need to one-click this book. It is seriously the beginning of another great series from A.E Via. Their is some kick-ass action, some very sexy moments, some very cute moments, and some laugh out loud moments. This book seriously has a little bit of everything and I can't wait to read about the next one!

    4.25 stars. This is a fantastic start to a series. When I found out AE Via was writing a shifter true mate series I knew it was going to be good. No one rights alpha males like she does. I can't believe I'm going to say this about one of this author's books, but I really wanted more sex scenes. At least one more graphic scene in the middle and this book would have been a 4.5-4.75 star read for me.

    Overall great universe building, great characters, and an engaging story that made me want to hide away until I could read the entire book. I cannot wait for the rest of the books in this series!

    I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review, but I also purchased a copy on release day.

    Another amazing book but to be total honest I expected nothing less. Ms. Via has sucked me from the very first book that I read and each journey into her world of characters leaves me wanting more.
    Justice is the head alpha in his pack of wolves and has been trying to work hard with the human race to live in peace. However, word gets back that rouge wolves and a few Vampires have attacked humans and in the attack a cop has been killed! In order to get their rogues back and deal with them the way that is in their custom rather then the horrible ways of the humans the wolf packs must work together with the Vampires! Which is something that neither side is happy about.
    Wick has always know he was different from other vampires, something inside of him felt different yet no one would even try to find out. He was never close to anyone, love and affection was just not the way of a Vampires life. He was the King and every vampire bowed to his every wish.
    Something was off when he stepped off the plane and entered the office in Nevada. A smell that made his body yearn. Once he meet Justice he knew from that moment that he found his beloved! Wick wanted Justice from the moment he saw him but Justices reaction towards him wounded him when he felt his rejection.
    However, the bond was too strong for either of them to deny! Their love was so strong and intense that even the war that was coming to them with the rogues couldn't put a damper on their connection.
    Justice finally helps Wick identify want has always laid dormat within him. The relevation is one that not only surprises Wick and Justice but the norm of both Vampires and Wolves!
    This is an amazing paranormal story with a powerful story line and I am so excited about the next book in this series.

    This book didn't really connect with me. It felt too rushed, too focused on sex, and too all over the place. I didn't really vibe with any of these characters and think I'll leave the series here. If you're looking for a paranormal book more focused on sex rather than plot/action then this one might be for you. Audio was great!

    I love a paranormal romance and this book was fantastic i have read all the books this author has published and i love the characters she creates. Justice and Wick wow they were hot together but not just that the world she has created is slightly different to other shifter worlds but similar enough for usual readers. I loved the secondary characters as well and can't wait to read their books.

    So I'm definitely glad A. E. Via took a refreshing approach to her alphas. There's definitely good surprises waiting for the reader.
    There wasn't much to the vampire world that we found. But plenty of world building on the shifter front and I'm writing this after I've read part 2. So I can tell you that all that was missing has been taken care of in the next book. But it is a very interesting and enjoyable story and I cant wait for the prophecy to unfold!

    Justice is the leader of the shifters. Wick is the leader of the vampires. When the two collide, sparks fly. They discover that they are true mates and together they will rule the two species.

    They work together to overthrow a faction of rogue shifters that are being experimented on to make hybrid shifters. Only by combining their two packs can they defeat their common enemy.

    Wick is no run-of-the-mill vampire, as is discovered after Justice claims him.

    There are many side characters that you know will get their own stories, for which I can't wait to read.

    4.5 Stars... A great start to the series with this book. I didn't feel their connection but I really enjoyed the story. Justice and Wick aka Chadwick are great but Justice fights his attraction to his fated mate. Justice's deceased mother gives Wick a help of encouragement. Wow the "Mother" had a huge surprise install for Chadwick, some readers are gonna love it or hate it, so an open mind is a good thing to liking this book. Mate challenges, and a mate who loves water are included oh and Justice really needs to keep Wick out of the kitchen. lol I had to laugh at that bit. The book is a good one which you get to know all the other secondary characters.

    Justice was the Alpha wolf of all the shifters, but big trouble in Nevada had him bound to resolve it.
    Chadwick was king of the vampires and was also headed for the location to form policies between vampires and shifters to stop a possible war.
