    Loretta, Lucy and Uncle Ichabod are back home from their trip to Las Vegas. Savannah, a friend and neighbor has bad news. Her dog Barkley is disappeared and there are several other small purebred dogs missing in the area as well. The friends decide to investigate the mystery of the missing dogs.

    This is a very good written cozy mystery with a great flow and well told. I think it is one of the best in the series so far.

    Pups in Peril is another cosy mystery by Hope Callaghan. I love how much charm this series has. The characters are well fleshed out and have personalities you can feel. I always feel like I'm embracing a take about friends with these books. This story is fun and worth the read.
