Red, Blue, & Pink: Three Short Stories: Suspense, Intrigue, & Romance Kindle Edition
The stories in this volume are titled after colors for a good reason.
The first story is a dark suspense that embodies what the color red stands for: fire, stimulation, violence, energy, basic survival, and aggression. Hopefully it won't keep you awake at night...
The second story is an intrigue that comes about because of a breach of communication and trust - both these attributes, when unbroken, are signified by the color blue - as is the resulting sadness when the promise is not fulfilled.
The third one is a soft, sweet suspenseful romance with elements of warmth, femininity, and love, but also inhibition, and hence is titled pink.

About the author

My love affair with books began when I was a tot. A fabulous mother, who recognized the power of the written word, read to me and my sisters every night, introducing us to the wonderful world of the imagination.
Once I could read on my own, I graduated from fairy tales to adventure stories to romance, spending all my pocket money on books. My father served in the army and took the family along mostly wherever he went, resulting in experiences that beg to find a place in my books.
I am a surgeon, but make time for my other passions – reading and writing stories, watching romantic comedies, and doing creative things with wool and a crochet hook. I also love solving the Hindu crossword, and - when my muse is elusive - I enjoy pitting my wits against my husband's at Scrabble®. When I have no other choice, I can be found in the kitchen putting together my 'world-famous' one-pot meals.
Writing about love and happy endings feeds my romantic soul; hearing from my readers thrills me. Do write to me at reetsingh.author@gmail.com Visit my website at http://reetsingh.in to learn more about me.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Dark Chocolate
If I were to mix the three colors presented in this book, it will probably result into a chocolaty colour...prbably a dark chocolate, which is good for the system. I must confess that I liked the taste of that brown chocolate after reading your stories and am tempted to do something similar in due course of time. I marvel at the unique way the learned author introduced her stories with the chosen colours ... so appropriate and astoundingly original.
If I were to single out, the Pink impressed me the most. It has enough material to dish out a novella if not a full-lrngth story. (I'm already beginning to get some ideas). These stories are so different from what this author normally does -- romance and more romance until you get blue in your face!. Nonetheless, there are shades of romance in these stories that only a romantic can understand. I do.
Looking forward to more from the author. Perhaps using more colours!
Cheers and best luck.

5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful short read!
It's difficult for any author to step out of their comfort zone. But Reet Singh does it effortlessly with this tiny collection of three stories. I would love to read a full-fledged version of Red some day. Blue was a surprise. Pink was such a sweet story, even though I figured out the little suspense early on. I would love to read more of the same kind from this author any day!
