- Reviewed in the United States on November 12, 2020I can always count on Rich Amooi to write a book that I want to read. I've read all of his books and always look forward to the next one. As expected, this one did not disappoint! This story about Faith and Noah, two long-time friends about to turn 40, was fun from the beginning to the end. I enjoyed all the characters in the book, and how they genuinely cared about one another. I even thought the friendship between Tracy and her ex-husband, Noah, was touching and sweet. Both realized that they were great human beings--just not meant to be married to each other. That didn't keep them from remaining friends, sharing in a mutual respect and desire for the other's happiness. What a mature and refreshing storyline!
The journey that Faith and Noah go on to realize their HEA, along with the love of their friends, is filled with banter and lively dialogue. Adding to all of that, for those of us that love animals as a part of our romcoms, we have Bumper! He's the bumbling, lovable French Bulldog that belongs to Noah, and adds additional fun to this perfect story!
The only thing I can add is that I would love to see the stories of Tracy and Kim in a possible "Three Amigas" Romcom Series. Just a thought, Rich!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2020IT’S RAINING MEN is a Clean “Seasoned Romance” trope (characters are just turning 40), Romantic Comedy by Rich Amooi. I was in the mood for a light & fun “Pick Me Up” novel and It’s Raining Men was perfect! In just a few hrs I had fully escaped - and the story had me smiling and snickering to myself - exactly as I had hoped. Although it took me a few chapters to get into the story, once in, I was hooked. I was so happy when Faith/FMC, the widowed wife of a deceased veteran, finally got her HEA - again.
I recommend It’s Raining Men to readers who prefer the “2nd Chances” and/or the “Friends to More” tropes; quick reading, light romantic comedies; and/or those who perhaps simply desire a break away from their usual suspense, fantasy, thriller, dark or angst-filled novels. It’s Raining Men also happens to be a Clean novel (see below). I have previously read 6 other novels by Rich Amooi. He has quickly become one of my favorite “Go To” authors whenever I’m looking for a breath of fresh air - something bright, sweet, positive, and at least a few snickers - to take me away for awhile. His novels are perfect for the end of a long day, or a hard week, or (lately) as a much needed “COVID” break. It’s Raining Men is a standalone novel.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 14, 2021Rich Amooi does it again. He wrote another fun and cute rom com. This one full of characters that are very relatable.
I loved that Noah and Faith had been friends since high school and their group of friends were always so close. I loved how close knit the town was as well. Rich does a great job painting the picture of the town and all the people in it. I also love all the cute names he comes up with for each the dog characters. Like for example: Bumper, who was just too adorable and he keeps it real when he's writing about the puppy characters. It's as authentic as his human characters.
He definitely keeps writing great stories and I have yet to read a bad story. He also keeps you guessing throughout the whole time you're reading. I also love his cover art for each and every book.
My only complaint is that I have to wait for another book, but that's okay because I can and will just reread my other favorite books by him. I can't wait for another one of his books as always. Rich Amooi is one of the best in my opinion.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2024Funny, lighthearted, an easy read. I enjoyed the way the book flowed from start to finish. The references regarding San Diego County and neighboring cities actually made the book much more personal. A girl could only wish for a fountain like in the book in her neighborhood.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 25, 2020So, I just want to know, which way to that fountain? Faith and Noah's story just goes to show, sometimes what you need is right there in your face before you even know you need it! Faith wasn't looking for love, heck, she wasn't even looking for like 😀 Noah knew what he wanted all along but was too scared to put it out there! Another great Rich Amooi read! Storyline, characters, and the fountain... all wonderful! Just get it! If this is your first Rich Amooi read, you will not be disappointed, and you may as well order all of his others now so you can just read them back to back to back to back, well, you get the point. Mr. Amooi's fans already know what to expect and I must say, he has done it again! Always a good read, entertaining storyline and interesting and loveable characters. Bumper is too adorable! 😀
- Reviewed in the United States on November 27, 2020Even with an underlying heavy subject the writer managed to write a lighthearted love story that was a joy to read.
“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal.”
The author really put those words into action in this book. Faith and Noah share a love and a loss that was both great and devastating. The endured simply going through the motions not really living. Then one day they each lived a little. They grew together and discovered their love for each other.
You will not be disappointed.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 20, 2024Great characters, fun plot and wonderful ending. I look forward to reading another of Rich's books soon. Strongly recommend Rich Amooi books!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 1, 2020The book kept my interest but I have to admit being a little turned off by folks marrying one another's previous partners.

5.0 out of 5 stars It’s Raining Men
Throw a coin in a ‘magic’ fountain to find love, yeah right! Faith doesn’t believe in the fountain’s powers, but tosses a coin in anyway making her wish. Suddenly she is practically tripping over hot, kind, charitable men who want to date her. Silly premise, but this is a heart-warming book filled with interesting characters that you can’t help liking and caring about.

5.0 out of 5 stars Raining fun
Great characters. It was a little weird to witness the Noah-Faith-Alonzo-Tracy cross-connection. But well...if they OK with that, it's OK with us. The language is nice, free-flowing. I liked how you've captured how Noah keeps oscillating in his mind. I would have liked to see the backstory of Faith and Noah after Ryan, how she comes to love him without realising it. From Noah's side the feelings were always there. But from Faith's side, it seems a bit abrupt. Nevertheless, the story is enjoyable and fun.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic
Cheers to crazy strong women who love life and have an amazing friendship I loved all three Kim Tracey and of course Faith.
Faith slowly starts living her life again after grieving for five years and reading to start dating. Oh she meets some great men but are they really what she wants or are they closer then that.
Noah on how I loved him he generous to everyone doing repairs for free always willing to help others. His dog was the sweetest.
Though I loved the romance the best bit to me was the friendship.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another fab book
There’s only one problem with a Rich Amooi book, i read them far too quickly and then hate it when I come to the end. The story lines are easy to follow, making his books a lovely easy read. The characters are so relatable I almost feel like they are my friends. Cannot recommend highly enough.
