When she arrives at a remote game reserve in South Africa to work on her next project, wildlife photographer Casey Summers is more than a little annoyed that the only ranger available to escort her during her visit is gruff, ruggedly sexy Rhett Dawson.     I enjoyed the story. Unique setting and interesting outcome. Suspenseful. I was surprised at how fast they jumped into bed, but there was chemistry. The plot was well done and the descriptions put you there watching the world of Africa. Poaching is real and dangerous. I like that this highlighted that fact.

    This was a good story, but it had the potential to be so much more. The setting and descriptions in the book are amazing. The beauty of the landscape and the characters love of animals come through very clearly.

    My issues are the characters personalities mostly. Rhett is a jerk, particularly at the beginning of the story. He is rude and goes about things in the wrong way and there is never really an apology or anything. Then he kind of turns into a cookie cutter, by the playbook Dom, which didn't seem to fit or flow well for me. Casey seemed a little weak all around.

    I want to read something else by this author though because I can see the potential for something that I would really like. This particular one just wasn't for me.

    This book was very well written. It’s not like a lot of romances, it has suspense and adventure. I think my favorite part was the setting of Africa and just the wildness and animals. I loved the little serval Rhett was rescuing. There were some really tense and scary moments with the cheetah almost attacking and the poachers almost killing Casey. I think this is the best kinky book I’ve read because there was more of a story and all the romance was worked into the story where it felt more real. I can’t believe there aren’t more reviews on this. I know everyone would love it. I hope the author writes more stories set here with maybe Dan and even some of the other rangers.

    It's really hot in South Africa. It's not just the weather. It's Rhett and Casey. Oh yeah, I need a glass of ice water after reading this!

    There's so much good stuff here. The main characters are interesting, and they clash at first, so that's fun to read. The sexy times are mind-blowing, spine tingling, toe-curling and unforgettable. I enjoyed the animals that were photographed by Casey, as well as Rhett's rescue animals. Especially Buddy the baby serval. For a shorter novel, it does have plenty of character development, and the plot had plenty of action.
