Rebecca Sharp always loved a good love story. Let's face it, when you include a romance novel on your 8th grade summer reading list just to see if the teacher would notice (she didn't!), she was bound to give writing one of her own a go. There's really no corner of romance that she doesn't (or wouldn't) enjoy writing, except maybe aliens, much to her husband's dismay, so her large catalog features a little something for everyone. However, her love of shows like NCIS and Criminal Minds makes her favorite stories to write the ones with some kind of suspense and crime solving.

When she's not writing, she's at her office treating patients, and somewhere between those two things, you'll find her wandering the globe with her husband always searching for their next adventure.

I love the concept behind this series, the author is taking some of her favorite country songs and writing full length standalone novels based on them, this one is inspired by Dan + Shay's song, Tequila! We begin the story with Shay (BaE) just graduating from the air force academy and is out for a hike with a friend before they go to celebrate with others before they are all headed into their next journey, more schooling - deployment - whatever the case may be. This is when Shay meets Park Ranger Logan Daniels and WOW do the sparks fly! After one night they have such a deep connection that neither has forgotten the other so when Shay finds herself needing to escape she returns to Colorado subconsciously hoping to see him again, what she didn't expect was to get flooded in without any chance of leaving....guess mother nature gave her the final push she needed. I loved this book, it was hot and sexy and it was raw and real. I have always enjoyed Dr. Rebecca Sharp's writing style whether it was a taboo romance or a sports romance she has a way of pulling me into her world and making me feel like I am right there witnessing everything even the trembling breaths. This book made me fall in love with her work all over again, I would definitely recommend this book to adults that enjoy contemporary romances.     I love this story!!

    This is Dr Rebecca Sharp best book so far.

    I read this story thinking about the song it was influenced by Tequila - Dan & Shay.

    Shay, a fighter pilot and Logan, a park ranger met by chance and had an instant connection. Six years, later Shay's life has changed and she returns to the area to find her grounding when life gets complicated. She runs into Logan, the man she never forgot from that one night.

    Can that connection six years ago lead to more? Not only is this a romance, but we learn how people can come together in times of crisis.

    This story took me through several emotions, it is such an excellent read!! The characters are strong and very realistic, but most of all you will read this and cheer for them throughout.

    Up really enjoyed this story. It was a great read. It follows along the typical lines of insta love, but it was done decently. There was definitely chemistry which came through clearly. Shay is an air force fighter pilot that looks like miss America. She always wanted to fly and hasn't let anyone stop her. Logan is a park ranger who is trying to live honestly as possible, righting the wrongs of his parents. They meet the night if her graduation in his park. Some tequila later and they have a night to remember. Things didn't go as planned when she ghosted him due to insecurities, but they get a second chance due to a series of crazy events. Real emotion pours through the words of this book. Definitely recommend. Told in dual POV. Stand alone second chance romance.

    Just all of Dr. Rebecca Sharp’s from the moment I read the first page, I was hooked. The characters are so well written that it feels like they are real people and you just want to meet them. Logan and Shay are a couple that were meant to be no matter how much life, the weather or their own personal issues tried to keep them apart. I love the song that this was inspired by and love this book more! If you want a page turning, emotional roller coaster ride then this is book is for you! Love the way all Dr. Sharp’s books bring out all the emotions! Excellent read!

    Tequila, oh Tequila. This book was AMAZING. The heroine was a tough as nails, driven lady in the field of men. She kicked butt and took names! The mountain man she fell for was the epitome of kindness, loyalty and support. Both characters have a past they seem to be burying, albeit, when all is said and done, they both realize they had tried their damndest to truly follow a just path. The characters were likable and their interactions realistic. I look forward to reading more by Dr. Sharp as this one was fantastic.
