    Cassandra Lawson has written and amazing story in Rock and Regrets. This was such a smooth read that I felt the emotions straight into my bones. Piper and Austin's story is full of history which they keep trying to avoid, the perfect amount of tension and incredible steam.
    Definitely a one click wonder if you are looking for a rockstar romance

    This is my second book in the Reckless release series which I am really enjoying the hell out of and am looking forward to reading what's up next for the band.

    This time, it's Austin in the hot seat as he realizes, many years after the fact, that he did someone very wrong as a teen and it haunts him still. He also has some personal issues which need sorting out in order to move on with his life.

    Piper had a major girl crush on a boy who was the son of her fathers employer. Many more details influenced what happened in the end of their time back then, but you'll have to find out what they are when you read this great book for yourself. That boy is now the drummer in Reckless Release and their paths cross again when Austin and the band move from LA, back to the Bay Area of San Fran where he grew up.

    I loved Gage's story, but Austin just stole my heart in this one. It was more of an in depth story for me as the band's circle is expanding and other characters are showing their personalities as everyone becomes much more connected in each others lives. Austin was well known in the band as the 'Rebound Guy', but he doesn't want to wear that label anymore. He's getting older and wants more from life than meaningless moments. He surprised me a few times in a very good way 🤫!

    One thing I like about Cassandra Lawson's style so far is that she doesn't rely on high drama scenarios and silly misunderstandings to spice up the story. She spices things up quite nicely with just the right amount of steamy, hot and even tender moments between he H and h, that's for sure!

    The characters in this series are not YA, but alittle older, which is nice to see in a rockstar romance sometimes. Low angst, with good stories which can be appreciated without feeling like something is missing. I do love me some angst and drama on many occasions but not in every book I read. How would my heart survive that! Lots of humor and plenty of love to go around between friends and more. I also enjoyed how Austin's story was setup here and there in Gage's to lead into this one, but alittle down the road in time to see what's been happening after the 1st book left off. Of course, dual POVs are my favorite way to feel both the MCs emotions and mindsets.

    These are rockstar romances but more of the milder rather than wilder side of their lives. I love any and every side of this kind of romance, especially when the ending is so sweet. Just enough to be happy with but keeps you wanting to see more. Let the story continue!

    5 ROCK & REGRETS STARS!! Another Great Book in this series, this is my favorite so far. I loved Piper and Austin's story it had all the feels with steamy scenes. Cassandra Lawson is a great storyteller that keeps you turning pages. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

    As a teen, Piper had big dreams. She dreamed of one day marrying her prince charming, Austin Knight. The only problem with that dream was the fact that Austin was more of a douche than a prince, and he ended up breaking her young heart.

    Fast forward 14 years.

    Fate has brought Piper and Austin back into one another's lives. Austin feels terrible about the way he treated her all those years ago, and he will do anything to make it up to her. They agree to try rebuilding their friendship, but Austin makes it very clear he wants more. Of course, Piper isn't convinced. Can Austin convince her to give him a chance to prove that he can be the man she once thought he was?

    Overall, this was a pretty good read. I really liked Austin. I thought his character had a lot more depth than what you normally find in the run of the mill rock star romance. I found it quite endearing that he took responsibility for his past actions and was willing to do anything to prove what a changed man he was. And Piper? Well, she was perfect! She was the perfect balance of sweet and sassy.

    If you are a fan of rock star romance, this is one book you won't want to miss!

    The second book in Cassandra Lawson's irresistible Rock and Roll series is even better than the first one with more HOT, SEXY, WONDERFUL FEELS and STEAMY MOMENTS that had my heart stuttering in my chest and had me feeling some major heat!

    I fell in love HARD with this stunning cover. Beautiful with one gorgeous hottie, I could hardly take my eyes off of it. I think I may have drooled a bit on my kindle! Once I started it though, I was HOOKED. The story was devastatingly attractive and nothing is better than a second chance romance, especially one written by Miss Lawson. Piper and Austin are so cute together and they just fit so well together. They have that undeniable chemistry and the plot and storyline definitely made me want to swoon. I found myself laughing, sighing, squirming with pleasure, and 100% COMPLETELY satisfied with Rock & Regrets!

    I give Rock & Regrets a SINFULLY DELECTABLE FIVE SHOOTING STARS! I am a fanatic when it comes to Miss Lawson's books, and I seem to be even more of one with her sexy rock and roll stories!

    I love a great second chance romance and even more so with a rock band backdrop- so needless to say I enjoyed Rock & Regrets.

    Piper and Austin grew up together and were best friends - then Piper's feelings started to change. Then Austin broke her heart and shattered her fairytale illusion. Now 14 years later they are forced back together again and Austin realizes the mistakes he made and will do anything to make Piper his - that is if Piper will ever forgive and take a chance on him again.

    This being my first Cassandra Lawson book I wasn't sure what to expect. The writing was fast paced with great dialog between the characters. I loved the dual POV's - getting the insight for both these characters was great. I did feel a little lost in the beginning since I didn't read the first book in the series there are a lot of characters and it took me a while to get who they were; that being said I did overall enjoy Austin and Piper's story. I just now have to go back and read book 1.
