The story continues



The reunion between Ryan and Nico was sweet as sugar and as hot as hell, but after ten years apart can they find true happiness?

    Most of us fell in love with Ryan and Nic in book one and have been patiently waiting for this one. So good! So hot! So nerve wracking! I don't know how these two have time to even eat with all the sex ! Hot damned!
    We learn more about these two, and the past. Each one deals with the past differently. Nic put his feelings for Ryan in a box in his heart and tried to ignore the pain. Nic went into the military and got into dangerous situations. The photos of Nic and Ethan (Tate) past have almost destroyed Ryan....and now we find out who was harassing them...it was obvious to me. Now, the bad news.... Ms Harper has decided to annoy me and other readers ( even though we are faithful) and there's another book in her series. Part of me is unhappy, but the biggest thing I feel is joy that we aren't leaving these men yet !!!!!

    Ryan & Nico have my heart swelling. I enjoyed Reunion so much that when I was 75% thru I had to buy Reunited so I would be able to continue reading their story...but now I have to wait for part 3 and that makes me sad.

    This novel is a lot more mystery and investigative than the first where they were just reconnecting after 10 years apart. Within only a short time of being back together they face some crazy complications. I enjoyed watching their relationship become real for them. They both struggled with how to act with each other and they both made mistakes, but their making up was always amazing!

    Though this story ends in a good place, I am eager to continue to read about these two guys who have really come to mean something to me.

    Loving the storyline in this book. The sex scenes are so brilliantly done. Twists and turns, and the tribulations of a new relationship this book has it all. Hoping Nico and Ryan get the HEA they so deserve in the next installment.
    The author really leaves you wanting a Nico or Ryan in your own life. I mean who wouldn't want two sexy ass alpha males. And the love these two have for one another really makes you wish for it.
    This series is showing us whatever gender you are and whom you love, that LOVE can happen.
    Obstacles can be overcome and true love does conquer ALL.

    So after the WTH moment at the end of Reunion, Reunited begins with us finding out who exactly is Marcus's husband is and of course it's a doozy, this in turn sets us up nicely for what is a roller coaster ride in true Ryan & Nico style.
    The boys are trying to come to terms with if you like being back together and in love, this however doesn't protect either one of them from the insecurities, the regret and the harsh reality that one was left behind and one was perhaps forced to leave 10 years earlier.
    This book was about forgiveness, true love and hope and the boys played it beautifully with the help of amazing J J Harper of course!
    The side characters played a part too, we get to see Mason again (Rising Up, also by JJ), we hear from Troy, and yes I'm desperate for more from him and also the baddies play a part too but you need to read to see what happens there and with who.
    A fantastic follow up to Reunion, very often a middle book of a trilogy can be a 'filler book' but not here, it was full of love, hot scenes (oh yes, handcuffs!), a smattering of angst and another WTH moment, but never fear the boys can't live without each other so I have faith and will be holding my breath for the final instalment of this beautiful series.
    But....I'm not sure how I'll live without them when it's all over....

    Nico's past is immediately the present when the lovers enter their reunion. Is this the cause of Nico's most recent problems? Problems that continue to worsen, problems that may not be able to overcome. They both have admitted they are in love but love might not be enough?

    These men never seem to rest, they can't keep their hands off each other.

    This is the second book of Nico and Ryan and their relationship scenario's, and carries on from the cliffhanger at the end of Reunion. I was dying to know what was to come in this book for these two incredibly sexy hunks and I wasn't disappointed.
    This book deals with how they are managing their love together after the ten year separation, they are getting to know one another, love again, and experience all the problems and insecurities from their past that come with it. I much preferred the second half of the book as it was much of a faster pace than the first which I thought was a little slow to start, but I am totally in love with Nico and Ryan - JJ Harper brings out their personalities perfectly and they shine in this book. There is a great story as well, which doesn't end on such a cliffhanger as the last book but none the less there is a third book and I can't wait to read more of these two gorgeous warm and loving alpha males.
    The sex and the chemistry they share was once again scorching hot and the book was very well written. A definite read to get in to - a brilliant series so far !!!

    I'd been waiting so patiently for this second book to be released after the climatic finish to the first book and I must say it was worth the wait.
    Ryan and Nico are back and they are a whole lot sexier, serious, passionate and humorous! You get to read how they begin to settle being together again in a relationship and it's not as easy as they thought it would be. Besides trying to find their way in how they fit together again and be happy, they also have the added craziness of finding out who is trying to sabotage them being together!
    Right from the start of the very first sentence you are pulled into their story by so many emotions and what's happening. You can honestly feel the love, the guilt, the anger and the forgiveness.
    I sat and read this book in one setting as I couldn't put it down. Once again I was cheering, shouting, laughing and yes crying with both Ryan and Nico. Especially towards the end when a twist in the story happens that I didn’t see coming which had my heart racing and my blood pressure rising! Can Ryan get to Nico in time??
    The supporting characters in this story also had big parts to play and the biggest one for me was Troy! I so want him to have his own story.
    This was another great story by JJ Harper. One that I would defiantly recommend that you buy and read for yourself.
    Even though this book didn’t end on a cliff-hanger, I’m totally looking forward to the third and final part of this trilogy! I want to know what else has JJ Harper has got in store for the boys!

    Book two picks up right where book one left us, wondering what’s going on. Nico’s past hasn’t only come knocking on his door, it’s literally beaten it down and taken up residence. There’s no escape from it, and all the reunited lovers can do is stick together and try to ride out the storm.

    Decisions have to be made, and things are never what they seem. The past threatens to destroy what these two have, ripping apart what future they have planned together.

    Nico’s past is troubled, and he’s worked so hard to keep it from affecting his present. With Ryan by his side it feels like there is nothing he can’t face, so when he finds out that his deepest secret has been uncovered and he’s now being blackmailed they try to face it together.

    Things are never that simple though, and I did have a Eureka moment while reading as quite early on I had my suspicion about who was behind the events.

    With so much happening, we are treated to some totally Kindle melting scenes between Ryan and Nico and a cold shower was definitely needed. There was more to these scenes that just the physical act; there were emotions and tenderness which radiates from the pages as you read.

    Another brilliant book and another that I couldn’t put down. Now, onto book three! I need more of these two.
