About the Author

It is by a strange twist of fate that I am a published author. I was in culinary school doing an essay for the English portion of my AA degree. After finishing the assignment in less than 20 minutes and far faster than any of my classmates, the professor looked at my work, then he asked me a question I will never forget. "How many books have you written?" I remember thinking: I am going to be a chef, why would I write a book? I had forgotten the young boy who used to write ghost stories to scare his grandmother. After several failed attemps at being a chef, I met an author who was giving a lecture at the local library. I remember thinking that would be a cool thing to do. That very night I remembered the words of Professor Wolfson in culinary school: "How many books have you written?" So I sat down at the computer and started what would become Revenge from Mars, my first novel. That was 5 years ago and I haven't looked back since.

Henry Thomas has nothing but hatred for those ruining Earth, and destroying families. When he loses one person he loves too many, he emigrates to Mars with one goal in mind – to find the fabled lost city. Once he does, Henry sets upon a quest to bring back a form of democracy to planet Earth, now under the control of a religious demigod.
T.W. Embry captures the essence of science fiction with his well-plotted novel. The characters are memorable, all of whom have reason to hate their circumstances. Each phrase draws the reader further into the story, to discover if Henry can achieve his goal and what he'll do once he does. Embry keeps the interest high while also instilling the important elements of his world.
I recommend this novel for all lovers of a good tale.

I found the story to be very interesting. Even though this is science fiction you can imagine certain parts of the story in our future....the disappearance of the middle class. The story kept me guessing at each twist and turn and the ending was completely unexpexcted. I found this book hard to put down.

This book brings to light everything that is "human". We are bound to repeat the mistakes we cannot learn from. And everyone needs a little help sometimes, even almost-all powerful androids! I loved it!

Religion and government are ranged against one hapless Martian miner. Action and adventure on every page. An excellent book.
