    Continuing saga of Josh (Jazz) Roman-Wyatt and his husband Gabriel (Gabe) Roman-Wyatt. In this final story Gabe decides to give Josh a romantic vacation to a plantation home where activities abound and a murder mystery dinner to solve. Only hitch in the vacation is the murder mystery becomes real. Josh and Gabe are surrounded by people who aren't who they pretend and several who know each other a little too well. Gabe goes against his basic urge to solve the crime and is trying to get Josh home and away from danger when another murder attempt is made. Josh unknowingly sees the killer and is the next on the killer's list. Don't count out Josh because he shows in true fashion that his self defense classes took.
    This is a well written book that gives great descriptions of the plantation and made me want to vacation there too. Josh and Gabe are their usual fantastic selves and it was nice to show them a little more settled in their life together. Sassy and Savage are hilarious as usual. A surprise birth that will always make me think of "lawn maintenance". LMAO! I love that all the characters from past books are there to support Josh and Gabe. This book is told in Josh and Gabe's POV's and I love that Ms. Walker puts a picture at the beginning of each chapter to illustrate who's POV it is. So many times I've read books that were told in two or more POV's and it wasn't always clear who was talking at any given moment, if it wasn't stated outright. Lastly I concur with others who have said I'd love to see Chaz's beta book written. Maybe Chaz and Ms. Walker could co-author it. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes M/M books. Great finish Ms. Walker.

    I will be the first to tell you I love every book Aimee Nicole Walker has released, but Josh and Gabe will forever be my favorite couple. I hate seeing the end of this magnificent series, but I know that whatever comes next will be just as wonderful.

    This book has a lot of fun and snarky moments and lots of romantic moments that keeps you reeled in. Gabe plans what he hopes is going to be a fun week. The drama that flows from the background characters will have you laughing and gasping for air. Then tragedy strikes when one of those characters is killed. Gabe does what he has to do to secure the scene, before the cops arrive. He then can only think of one thing. Getting to Josh and getting them home to their family before something could happen to his husband. His main focus is keeping Josh safe. After answering all the cops questions..they are freed to leave and decide to do just that after a good nights sleep. Gabe sleeps through Josh sneaking out early the next morning to grab breakfast before they leave. Of course trouble follows Josh to the doughnut shop, but in true Josh fashion he kicks trouble's ass all before Gabe is able to get to him. You will not be disappointed. I freaking loved this book, so much.

    Josh and Gabe return for their last story. Gabe takes the love of his life on a special getaway and as usual they fall headfirst into a mystery. Their strategy to win the game was funny. The murder mystery aspect was ok but I feel the best parts of their stories are when their personalities are at the forefront.

    I’ve always appreciated the closeness all the characters in this series have between them. The emphasis on family, real or chosen is always so sweet. Short glimpses of some of the other players was nice, with hints of more Blissville characters to come. Overall it was another good story.

    Josh and Gabe as main characters are over, but Aimee has assured us that they will be showing up as secondary characters in future Blissville books. Josh and Gabe are such a strong, established couple but the road there was definitely rocky. Gabe has a romantic vacation planned for Josh sans kids but shenanigans always seem to follow them wherever they go. Once they get to Tarlington House its all sexy times and romantic gestures until one of the guests comes up dead. I have to say that I thought I knew who the murderer was right away but I was wrong. The ending is so sweet and showing what amazing men Josh and Gabe are, they are just perfection together. This is definitely not a standalone novel, to be thoroughly enjoyed I recommend reading all of the Curl Up and Dye Mysteries and The Road to Blissville books.

    I really enjoyed the Curl Up and Dye stories and this final book was a fitting conclusion to the series. Josh and Gabe wanted to spend some quality alone time as a couple away from the excitement and exhaustion of their everyday home life. They decided to have a week without their 2 small children while grandparents babysat for them. The week started out well, but a varied cast of fellow holidaymakers provided Josh and Gabe with an interesting mystery.
    WARNING - I started reading this book when I went to bed thinking 'I'll just read a couple of chapters' before going to sleep. As I write this it's 3.45am and I read the book all the way through... it was worth losing some sleep over.

    Every book in The Curl Up and Dye Series has been an amazing adventure. Each and every character brings their own set of uniqueness, which is always so full of laughter and entertainment. Josh and Gabe have a huge story to tell (but I’ll leave that for you to discover). Their love for one another is forever lasting, but their sense of humour with a dash of snarkism is truly hilarious. Savage and Sassy keep everyone on their toes and these are just some of the things are what makes up their family. This series is a MUST READ!!!
