Kacey Hamford is a pen name for me (Kelly). I am in my thirties and started this journey in 2014, I love to read romance books about rockstars, so thought I would have a go at writing one myself. I really enjoyed it and got a boost of confidence once my books started selling.

I have gone on to write a young adult series, set in a college. The series is still on going.

I also have an MC series, it was something different for me to write and I enjoyed it so much, especially when I got readers telling me they would love to read books about the sub characters.

I work full time as a dog groomer, I love to read and my friends and family are very important to me. They are all so supportive of my writing career and encourage me to carry on.

She been completely out of touch with all of the Flix and her girlfriends from childhood since Marcy and Rick’s wedding. Life is rough and not getting better, especially with the secrets she keeps. The Flix gang are back in town, families included, and they are going to help and support her whether she wants it or not. Will has been screwing any woman available to try to forget the one night he got to spend with Danni, the woman he was falling in love with. Now he sees her and they are still drawn together. He just wants to protect her and her daughter. Sad and sweet story of forgiving and moving on together.

    Rocking series ROCKS. This story is Will and Danni's. 3 years have passed since Flix drummer, Will, had a steamy night with Danni. The band had left for LA and recording the album. Touring and more recording have kept them away from their homes in the UK. Danni has a daughter, Skye, and an abusive boyfriend, Josh. She is working at the bar and the band shows up to play. Will has been trying for 3 years to forget the girl he fell for, he books up with skanks and groupies regularly never knowing their names. Danni is still smitten with the hot drummer but knows the trouble he will cause with Josh. After a jealous fight with him that ends with Josh hitting her, she is ready to take Skylar and leave. Much drama, ex-wife, fights, and finally love... Will and Danni are a couple, a family. I see a new generation of Flix stories coming. Hope so, love these folks!!

    Flix have been gone a few years and Danni is the only one still living in the town. In a terrible relationship with a daughter when Flix all turn back. Danni and Will had a thing not long before he left and the spark is still there but with nasty Josh so possessive and mistreating shy and quiet Danni hides it but for how long. This has been an action packed hot rocker series. Will and Danni’s story will have you loving theses characters even more. Highly recommend can’t wait to read book 6.

    Rocking Danni is such a sweet yet heart-breaking story that will make you cry and cheer on the actions of your beloved characters!

    Danni is such a strong woman, in a lot of ways. She walks away from the most passionate night she had because she did not want to end up with a broken heart, raised her daughter by herself, and for the sake of her daughter, stayed with her possessive boyfriend.

    Honestly, I think ‘possessive’ is an understatement to describe Danni’s pain-in-the-ass boyfriend. I don’t like him.

    (Nope, not even a little bit!)

    Will was a neutral character for me because well, he could have try to keep Danni before she walked out of his life and prevented the whole ‘sleeping around’ reputation.

    Of course, that was until the part where he discovers the things that are happening to Danni and he wouldn’t walk away even though Danni refused to tell him! YES, I LOVE WILL FOR DOING WHAT HE DID!

    Rocking Danni was really amazing and that teeny tiny little twist at the end got me gripping my kindle so tight I could have broken it!

    Recommend for readers who would love to read a short contemporary romance story about forgiveness and love!

    New to the series, I read this and treated it like a standalone and I don’t feel I missed out for taking that decision.
    I will now, go back and start at the beginning because there is a sea of engaging characters in the book that I need to know more about and the only way I can do that is by immersing myself in their stories.
    Danni is all but trapped in a violent and abusive relationship with Josh and while it initially seemed as though she had met her man, things turned nasty and he has now shown his true colours. Real men do not treat their women this way and while she realises that she needs to get away, her limited resources and isolation mean that she honestly believes she had no way out.
    My heart broke for her and the torment she must have felt, and with a three year old daughter to care for she was mindful that her daughter came first, what I think she failed to understand was that allowing the abuse and degradation to continue was eroding the woman that she needed to be for her child – it was whittling away her self-respect and Josh had no right to do that to her, she was worth more than that!
    And I am not alone in sharing that sentiment because while she is working at the pub, she bumps back into Will, he is back from the bands tour in American and he doesn’t like what he sees or hears with regards to what Danni is going through. He still has feelings for her and he is not prepared to stand by idly and let Josh treat her this way.
    They danced around each other a little too much for my liking and at times I was ready to hurl the kindle across the room, I mean she had a guy who was willing to lay it all before her and she was still dithering – get a grip woman!!!
    But like me you will fall in love with Will he is the most a glorious character, secrets revealed but yet he stands resolute in the fact that he wants Danni and will do whatever it takes to make her his.

    I have read all of the other books in the rocking series and this is my favourite so far.
    Danni is in a relationship with Josh and to begin with all was good. This is until he become possessive and abusive towards Danni, leaving her scared for the safety of herself and her three year old daughter. However with no money and a daughter to look after there is no way out. At the same time Flix return from their tour in America and with Danni working behind the bar in The Archer she bumps into Will. Old feelings between the two of them start to stir and seeing the way Josh is around Danni, Will becomes very protective of Danni. Does Danni manage to get away from Josh and will she get a happy ever after with Will? You'll have to read it to find out! I found this book really easy to read with secrets, surprises, twists and steamy scenes taking you on an emotional ride. I loved hearing about all of the other characters from the other books and how they all feel like one big family. I also loved the fact that some of the characters from the Chance series are mentioned as well. A fantastic read
    and another well deserved 5 stars. Well done Kacey, can't wait for the next one.

    This is book 5 and it is Dani's story

    Danni is in a terrible relationship with a possessive and abusive, lazy man. Working to support him and her daughter, she takes a job as a bartender.
    She wants to leave him, but she has no money and no place to go.

    The band, Flix, returns and Will reenters her life.they had one night together just over 3 years ago. then he chose to go to America with the band, saying nothing to her. She still feels the pull, but there is nothing she can do.

    When something major happens, Will refuses to allow the only woman he's had feelings for to escape his grasp. He wants a chance at a life with her and her daughter. he soon discovers that Skye is HIS daughter.

    My heart went out to Danni. She is in a situation where there appears to be no hope. watching Danni and Will come together puts your emotions into overdrive.
