HEATHER

    I love that a club angel gets her story, and with three men and a lot of steamy sexy times. Add in some Sweetwater Valley goodness, plus New Orleans and you have great settings for a wonderful story. It is so much fun to revisit some of my favorite characters, from Prodigal to Lark and Maverick. This is all wrapped up in well done complex character development and a flowing story. This is so easy to read and such a fun story.

    Absolutely loved this book! While I anxiously look forward to every Club Sin book and every Ember Davis book, this one turned out to be more than I expected – double first place prize! While part of the series, the night at Club Sin is essentially just the location for a relationship that finalizes with everything but words. And it is the lack of those words that sets the rest of the book in motion.

    All four of the characters are members of the Devil’s Saints MC, New Orleans chapter. Heather is a Club Angel, who really isn’t. She has limited her time to only her 3 men. Poe, Gray, and Zach are prospects on their way to becoming brothers. Unfortunately, prospects have less rights than brothers and rules of club are they can’t claim their woman. As the men feel they need to do it together and have no guarantee they will all be voted in, they decide to wait to ask her to be their old lady. But still claim her as their submissive and collar her. All without words of love and devotion. So, with those two pink two lines, Heather feels that she must run to protect herself and her men from the fall out their actions could cause within the club.

    Told in multi first-person POV, you get the full range of feelings from the beginning to the end. Davis has the remarkable ability to make me laugh, cry and sympathize right along with her characters. I did feel that the concerns of Heather’s past were essentially just a couple of pages and not as explored as they could have been. Short of explaining the hidden look in her eyes that was mentioned earlier in the book, it really didn’t add much to the story. But honestly, it certainly wasn’t enough for me to drop this down to anything less than 5 stars.

    I started this book and could not put it down. The s3x was spicy hot, the story was sweet and intense and proved again that people just need to freaking communicate (the basis of 90% of romance stories), and the characters relatable and loveable. I will definitely be reading this again….and again….and again. Kudos to Davis for another winner.

    Heather is an angel for the Devil’s Saints MC chapter in New Orleans, but only has relations with three of the men, Poe, Zach and Gray, all of whom are prospects for the club. When she finds herself pregnant, she runs.
    Poe is the first to become a full member of the MC, and treats the guys and Heather to a night of pleasure at Club Sin.
    Gray got his membership second and Zach was the last of the three to become a member of the MC. The guys decided to wait to go after her till after they were all patched in.
    Of course since several months have passed, they have a lot of work to do to get her back. There are a few speed bumps along the way, but they get their HEA. Plenty of spice throughout.

    This was a more emotional read than I was expecting, in the best way. Poe, Gray and Zach had a plan to make Heather their old lady. They just needed time for them all to be patched in. To them it was the only way. Too bad they didn't share said plan with Heather. When she up and disappeared, they were devastated. Now they are all patched in and its time to win their lady back. Will she be willing to come back to New Orleans and give them a chance to make things right? Heather's past didn't leave her with a lot of hope for a happy ending. As much as she loved the guys, she had no clue of how they really felt about her. When reality came calling, she had to do what was right for her, even if it broke her heart. This was beautiful and tender, the guys needed her just as much as she needed them. Loved it!
