Hell's Fury MC: Rory: Guarded Hearts Order of the Dragon Book 2 Kindle Edition
For over a year, Quake hasn’t been able to forget the beautiful redheaded shifter who slipped
through his fingers. But the passion they’d shared has turned into nothing but cold, hard embers. While visiting New York, the Hell’s Fury MC enforcer stumbles across her picture on the internet and manages to track her down. The reunion isn’t anything like he’s dreamed. Rory is different, distant, and living a new life.
After her baby is kidnapped, Rory learns her past isn’t as buried as she’d hoped. Suddenly, the Death’s Head MC threatens all that she holds dear. Catapulted into a world she’d once escaped, Rory must fight to save herself and her child. Feeling responsible for not killing the Death’s Head MC President, Khan, as he’d promised, Quake offers the Hell’s Fury MC to help find Rory’s son. Forced to put aside their differences and work together, he quickly learns that the chemistry between them is still there.
When events take a twisted turn and fate reveals its hand, Quake realizes that there’s more at stake than either of them could have imagined. Rory is a second-chance, secret-baby erotic MC romance with adult situations and potential triggers, written for Ages 18+.
The eleven books in Guarded Hearts Order of the Dragon Series feature members of the Hell’s Fury MC, Las Vegas NV Chapter, who appear as secondary characters in the original Guarded Hearts Series. Quake and Rory’s story begins in Hell’s Fury MC: Dangerous Curves (Guarded Hearts Order of the Dragon Book 1) and concludes in Hell’s Fury MC: Rory (Book 2). This novel can be enjoyed as a standalone, but your experience will be enhanced by reading their back story first.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 3, 2021Loved Quake and Rory's story! One of the best shifter romances I read in a while. Can't wait for the next one!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2021Rory held a soft spot inside of Quake's heart, and when she disappeared, she left him lonely, and kinda destroyed. They have both spent the past year trying to forget each other, but then they run into each other again.
I think that Rory is really strong, and she's been able to put herself back together and has made herself a huge success. She's a good friend, a good mother, and she's pretty happy. She really doesn't need anything or anyone else.
I think that Quake is a good man. He really has a caring heart, and he wants to take care of his friends and family. I think that he sometimes needs a smack in the head, because he does act a little stupid and jumps to a lot of assumptions, and he needs to have all the rocks shook out of his head.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 4, 2021I read the beginning of Rory’s story in the Twisted Steel anthology and really enjoyed it, so was excited about reading this book.
I try not to base my reviews on my dislike of a character, but I literally could not stand Rory in this book or Sydney either really. The only reason I gave it three stars instead of one was because of Quake, but he took so much abuse from Rory until by the end of the book I honestly didn’t care what happened. I almost stopped reading it several times because I was just sick of Rory being mean for no reason and sick of Quake bending over and taking it when he did not do anything to deserve being mistreated. And that is what this whole book was about, her being hateful for no reason and him taking it.
Rory had no redeeming qualities. She was rude, immature, and self centered, blaming other people for everything when most of it was her own fault. She was just plain mean to Quake and he was so good and tried so hard, but an entire book of it was way too much.
When she realized who he was to her and was afraid he would take the baby, I wish he had and I absolutely hate that he ended up with her because she sure didn’t deserve him. I feel sure they will have a miserable life because she is such a miserable person and apparently enjoys making everyone around her miserable. Like I said, it was just too much of a bad thing to make this book enjoyable and I’m glad I am finished with it.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2021I just love these two authors writing together!! The stories just low so seamlessly I can’t tell where one author begins and one author stops. Rory has been through hell and back and makes Quake work for it when they meet again. So many twists and turns, this book kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. Will Rory let Quake back in?
- Reviewed in the United States on May 8, 2021Quake is back! So is Rory, with her baby boy.
I was very happy to meet Quake again - he is special. How he never give up and only wants that is best fot others.
Rory is afraid and Sydney is... she’s a good friend to Rory...
I hope we will meet Guy again, as well as Stone and the others in the club.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book
- Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2021I am loving this series. These two authors just can’t seem to put a foot wrong together.
While I enjoyed the story of Quake and Rory, I can’t help but feel that it was a tad different from the others in the series. The book has all the usual drama, secrets, villains, and steam. It still kept me reading long into the night, but was just missing something. I can’t even put my finger on it. I’m definitely interested in the rest of the series, I guess I’m just hoping it was me and not the book.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2021Another great book by this talented duo. Quake has his work cut out for him. Is it to late for then? Can he win Rory back? Will they realize they're meant to be together?
- Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2023The saving grace to this book is baby Quinn. I didn't like Rory or Sydney's characters but loved Quake and especially his interaction with baby Quinn. I think it took both Quake and Rory too long to determine that Quake is Quinn's father. That possibility was always a consideration. The book was really long with a lot of repetition. Very steamy book but not sure if Rory and Quake will have a happily ever after.
