    the Fury series was, for me, a little difficult to get into but once I did it was a good blend of fantasy, scifi, and Greek mytholgy!

    Most of the character names were unpronounceable for those with no Greek language skills, but that's OK. It was interesting!

    I did go thru the whole series, including the vol 10, and thought it was overall a good read.

    Every time you think it must get better for the Earth Alliance another powerful enemy shows up. The story begins with Chase on the point of death and a significant part of the book he is in the underworld being trained by Hades whilst back in the real world most of the characters are either battling for the lives or battling their internal demons. I find this series a real joy, it is like one of the old serials, each week a new problem or enemy appears and the endings are always a shock. I have already started the next one it is impossible not too.
