    All those muscles on the cover sucked me in...I hadn't even read the first 2 books in this series, I literally jumped in here (it's normal for me lol)

    Roan and Betty had some super hot chemistry....after a slow start (not that they were counting but 38 days), a bar altercation at Betty's work got their relationship started.

    Betty's troubled brother gets her into a nasty situation that luckily Roan rescues her from....and from there let the good times roll

    Betty has had to make the best of life on a waitress job for herself and her older brother Dennis, who can't seem to hold a job.     This book was ok. This author, seems to have a good book and then a book that’s darker. That would be this book. It’s hard to tell which kind of book you’re getting until your in it. I wish I would have known.

    I honestly don’t think I have ever read a book by Dani Wyatt that I haven’t loved and this series has been hot, hot and hotter.

    Betty is a hard working clumsy waitress, she spotted Roan thirty seven days ago and cannot help but dream if being with him but she thinks that he would never look twice at a girl like her, that is until some men decide to get a little handsy and Roan rescues her. Spiriting her away to his cabin in the woods, could this really be something real or will her dead beat brother ruin what could have been her future?

    Roan took one look at the Betty the curvy, clumsy waitress and fell for her hard and fast, staying away from her is impossible and finds himself in the bar as often as he can be, after witnessing an incident in the bar he knows that he is meant to protect her and whisks her away to his cabin in the woods where he plans on keeping her but she leaves to help her brother does he suspect that she is in more danger than she realises and there is nothing he won’t do to keep her safe but will he reach her in time?

    This was a really sweet story and I loved reading this possessive alpha make and Betty is adorable as she is clumsy. Highly recommended series.
