I was given a free ARC of this book for an honest review. I give this book 3.5 stars This book is well written, flows smoothly and is easy to read. The author did a great job portraying the characters, their emotions, and the experiences they went through. The imagery in the book is very vivid. There are certain aspects of the content that I didn't care for. While I know this is fiction, parts of the story are too unrealistic for me. I would post examples, but I don't want to post spoilers that would ruin the story for others. I would recommend this book to those who enjoy MC books/bad boy alpha males/bikers Review for Mommy's Naughty Playground

    I loved Kentlee! She was amazing and strong throughout the book. Circumstances took Fury away before Kentlee and Fury’s relationship really got going but she stayed true to her love for Fury even when he cut contact with her. Three years later they are reunited and just when they start getting used to being back together along with little Bear, danger comes knocking at the door…. Loved how they beat the odds and had their HEA in the end. Really well written, you’ll enjoy it!

    This was my first book by this author and didn't know what to expect. I didn't expect to like this book and ended up really enjoying it. I have always been an avid reader and for the last few years added MC books to my ever growing library. Pierce first runs into Kentlee when she is at a dress fitting with her sister who is getting married and she always considers herself an outsider with her family and isn't close to her sister. She is getting in her car and he basically flirts with her while he is with his MC and they end up parting ways. Pierce is the president of his MC and isn't interested in a real relationship because basically he wants to do what he wants and have a life separate from his MC. He ends up running into Kentlee again, they have a one night stand that ends up with her pregnant and Pierce helping her move into a bigger place for the baby and wanting to pursue a secret relationship with Kentlee. Then everything spirals out of control. He is doing a run which involves illegal weapons and gets caught and then has to serve time. This leaves Kentlee with a new place she can't afford so she gets a job in a strip club, has to trade in her vehicle for something cheaper and gets a new roommate to help with expenses. The entire time Pierce refuses to see her because he's behind bars and this causes a lot of tension between them. When he is released he's upset at her "new" job at the strip club but still has feelings for her. They work things out but everything blows up when they have a rat in the MC, Kentlee is kidnapped and rivals join to bring down his MC. It was a pretty good book and can't wait for the next one, hopefully involving her sister.

    I started reading this series with book 6 (LOL), for which I was lucky enough to receive a free ARC. It made such an impression on me that I decided to go back to book 1 in the series and see how it all started. And I was not disappointed at all!!!

    The story follows Fury, president of the Notorious Devils MC, and Kentlee, the small town's good girl. She is younger than him by 12 years, and has gone to school with some of the guys from the MC. She's got a reputation for being a "good girl" and definitely not MC material. Fury sees that as a challenge. He is fascinated by her in general, personality, as well as looks. She is into him as well, even though she is aware that him being in the MC is far from good news. They end up hooking up, and things start getting interesting from there. Within months they both end up in life changing situations, together, as well as separately. I'm trying to not give spoilers away and it is sooooo hard!!!! 😂 I would think that some readers would see Kentlee as being weak, and she had her moments when you wanted to slap her so she'd snap out of it, but I really liked her and sympathized with the situation she found herself in. I thought it was a very realistic description of what she was going through while dealing with it all.

    I really was fascinated by them both. The way they each handled things and what the end result was, wow it was quite an adventure, and I didn't want it to end.

    Next book is Bentlee, who is Kentlee's sister, and Sniper aka Bates, who is an MC member, as well as Bentlee's teenage love.

    They start off hot and heavy as a couple.
    He doesn’t want to claim her.
    He gets set up/ it’s so obviously a set up but no one does anything.
    They are separated for a few years with him incarcerated.
    There is a lot of emotional drama.
    Lots of club girl drama.
    But not enough heart in this brotherhood or story overall for me. There is a lot of tough talk, without action to back it up. The girl in this book? Kentlee forgives too easily.
    Drama is made for the sake of drama- but she forgives years of anguish in moments.
    Bates and the sister’s issues could of been resolved in this book/ they don’t need their own story IMO. And it’s apparently the next book in the series.
    Not sure about this series, but really enjoyed the authors other series. Skipping to book 3

    Kentley could of a bit more of a spitfire. Let a guy basically dictate her life, all in the name of true love. I don’t mind a damsel in distress as long as they have a lot of fight in them. Wish she would of put Pierce, her sister and brother in their place.

    Yes.
    Never thought I’d hear myself say that. I’m surprised for sure.
    But man, did these two talk with their bodies rather than actually having meaningful conversations.

    I mean when a biker fight fiasco is short af compared to the many and I mean many, steamy times, you know that a well developed Poot is being sidetracked by shrubbery.

Loved the story of Fury and Kentlee (and Bear). the first read of a new MC series is always a favourite as you get a glimpse into the club dynamic as well as the key players who usually get a story down the line. the storyline for Rough & Rowdy is full of twists and turns, the main characters grow and develop with a strong sense of depth. the supporting character are intriguing and i am looking forward to more of this series.
